Nick Uhlenhuth has kept viewers updated on his life after Perfect Match season 1. The handsome nerd from The Circle season 3 dated his way to the final five couples on Perfect Match. Although he matched with various eligible Netflix reality TV stars over the course of the tumultuous inaugural season, he ended his run by pairing with Love Is Blind season 1 star Lauren “LC” Chamblin.

Nick’s relationships on Perfect Match were fraught from the beginning. He started the show by pairing with fellow Circle alum Savannah Palacio, but it quickly became clear that it was an alliance rather than a romantic endeavor. Although Nick desired Too Hot to Handle's Francesca Farago, he never had a shot, as she immediately went for The Mole’s Dom Gabriel. Nick vacillated between another Too Hot to Handle contestant, Izzy Fairthorne, and The Circle France’s Ines Tazi and left the villa disastrously unmatched. However, when he was brought back and matched with LC, sparks flew in a way they hadn’t with the previous contestants.

Nick Is Thriving After Perfect Match Season 1

Although Nick and LC didn’t make it after the show, Nick seems to be doing just fine based on his Instagram presence. The MIT graduate wasted no time in posting silly videos poking fun at his time on the show, similar to Dom’s Instagram videos about Perfect Match. Nick also seems to have found plenty of time to work out at the gym, as shirtless photos highlight his chiseled physique. Normally, women must choose between beauty and brains, but Nick manages to provide both.

Nick Kept His Day Job After Perfect Match

According to his LinkedIn, Nick seems to have left his job as a Senior Product Manager at F45 but got a similar position with the company Shoot 360, based in Austin, where he lives, in December 2022. While some Perfect Match stars, such as Bartise Bowden, have turned to monetize their reality TV fame, it appears that Nick remains in his prior field. This allows him to stay relatable and honest with his online following rather than try to pander for clout. He comes across as genuine and fun rather than desperate.

Nick, known as "Daddy Nick" on The Circle, is also a talented musician who posts covers of himself drumming to various pop hits, including "Anti-Hero" by Taylor Swift and "Unholy" by Sam Smith and Kim Petras. Those who watched The Circle season 3 will recall that Nick went in as himself but pretended to be a drummer rather than a fancy MIT graduate.

Fans post mostly positive remarks in the comments, saying, “Love it didn't know that this song could get any better” and calling for a Dom and Nick collaboration since Dom is also a musician. Dom and Nick didn’t seem to interact much on Perfect Match, but behind-the-scenes footage could suggest otherwise.

Interestingly, Nick and Bachelorette star Katie Thurston have been linked, as they spent New Year’s Eve together and allegedly shared a kiss. They look comfortable and cute together in each other’s Instagram posts from this day but didn't acknowledge whether they're together. There haven’t been any public developments surrounding their relationship since early January 2023, but it is possible that they’re dating.

The only monetizing of his fame that Nick seems to be indulging in is a partnership with the coffee company Dangerously Caffeinated. Interested Perfect Match viewers can buy The Daddy Blend coffee for only $18.99 plus shipping, inspired by the chiseled nerd’s “big Nick energy.” Nick certainly has his brand and audience down to a science, probably due to his prestigious educational background.

Ever since appearing on Perfect Match, Nick seems to be thriving. Although Nick and LC’s relationship didn’t survive outside the idyllic Panamanian jungles, Nick’s solidification in the reality TV spotlight has only served him well. He continues his prior work while finding the time to post funny videos, play the drums, and work out at the gym. He’s funny and quippy on social media without appearing to try too hard. It’s certainly fun to watch "Daddy Nick" thrive.
