Dom Gabriel was caught in the middle of drama after Perfect Match, and he made an apparent dig at The Bachelor's Nick Viall after the latter threw in his two cents. Dom and Georgia’s relationship was examined by viewers since they were deemed a “perfect match.” Although they kept quiet on what actually went down, Francesca Farago took it upon herself to release the supposed details. She claimed Georgia became romantically involved with her current boyfriend, Harry Jowsey, just two days after they finished filming. When Georgia met with Nick to defend herself, he went off on a rant comparing Dom’s mindset to that of a teenage boy.

Perfect Match's Dom Gabriel became a beloved personality following his appearance on the Netflix reality show and has been painted as a victim of the drama that has surrounded him since. Following Nick's comments regarding Dom saying, “I love you,” too soon, and his analysis that Dom is “emotionally immature,” Dom responded with a TikTok that appeared to be a sarcastic dig at Nick.

The video showed a cleverly created and animated depiction of Dom getting chased by police cars with the words, “If saying 'I love you' to people I barely know became illegal,” displayed across the screen. The caption read, “If you’re reading this, I love you.” Clearly, Dom is aware that him claiming to have fallen in love with two Perfect Match co-stars may have been overkill, but the timing seems to be a specific dig at Nick for calling him out on it.

Nick’s interview with Georgia almost solely revolved around Dom, and Nick initially expressed appreciation for Dom’s ability to be vulnerable and emotional on Perfect Match. He did make some comments here and there acknowledging that Georgia didn’t necessarily owe anything to Dom and that his vulnerability may have been too much for Perfect Match's premise and timeline. Following the interview, Nick continued to go on with his thoughts about Dom and his behavior. He shared a video where he outlined the concern and disingenuity of Dom’s actions, specifically addressing how he confessed his love to Francesca and then shortly after claimed Georgia to be his new best friend and lover.

Dom was crowned the winner of Perfect Match season 1, but it wasn't with his first choice in the house. He initially matched with Francesca, a well-known Too Hot To Handle alum and social media influencer. Georgia entered the house right around the time Francesca dumped Dom for Love Is Blind’s Damian Powers, and the rest unfolded as expected. Not typical of male identifying dating show stars, Dom could be seen sobbing in front of the camera and engaging in emotionally charged conversations throughout. His experience on Perfect Match and the drama that ensued explain why he chose to respond to Nick with such a sarcastic tone.

Dom and Georgia didn’t ultimately work out, but since they were the Perfect Match season 1 winners, people are going to have a lot to say about their split. Whether Georgia did Dom wrong or whether that is even relevant have been the general talking points. Dom has ignored most commentary, but clearly Nick's comments specifically didn't sit right with him. Dom hasn’t disclosed if he is currently in a relationship, so the assumption for now is that he is single. Maybe there is someone out there to challenge Nick’s assessment by confessing their love to Dom within a week of knowing him.

Perfect Match season 1 is available to stream on Netflix.
