Netflix star Chase DeMoor finally broke his silence regarding his latest appearance on Perfect Match and, as expected, didn’t shy away from asserting tasteless claims against the show and the rest of the cast. Chase broke into Netflix reality stardom when he was cast for Too Hot To Handle season 2. Shortly after his first appearance, he was granted a spot in the Perfect Match villa, where he excitedly accepted the villain role. He matched with a handful of women but ultimately left unmatched and widely disliked after Francesca Farago claimed he was actively dating someone while on the show.

Unlike others, Chase didn't do interviews after Perfect Match. That silence ended as he appeared on the Zachary Reality podcast and called out Perfect Match for being fake.

Chase slammed several of his Perfect Match co-stars, including Francesca, when he claimed, “Francesca wasn’t there to date.” He added that she joined Perfect Match for the sole purpose of promoting her swimsuit brand. Chase also called his co-stars liars--specifically Bartise Bowden, who asserted he didn't know Perfect Match was a dating show--by claiming they were all fully informed that it was indeed a dating show and that he has receipts (initial e-mails from producers) to prove it.

Chase DeMoor Claims Francesca Was Perfect Match's 'Puppet Master'

Chase explained that he and his Perfect Match co-stars were conversing about how to “play up” the show before they arrived in Panama. Chase noted that a few of his co-stars, Dom and Shayne specifically, were newer to reality TV and didn’t partake in the disingenuous strategies. But for the most part, Chase outlined several times when the cast chose the Perfect Match storyline. For example, he explained how Francesca managed to control who came in and out of the house and admitted to it by referring to herself as the show's “puppet master.

Reality TV shows aren’t perceived or expected to be 100% authentic and genuine, but Chase exposed more than what’s enjoyable about what went on behind the scenes. Dating show enthusiasts want juicy unaired details to be unveiled but not if it brings into question the entire integrity of the production. Chase made it clear that he and some of his other co-stars didn’t join Perfect Match for the show’s raw intentions, but at the same time, he did expose that others were. This smash hit of a series featured a lineup of already-proclaimed reality TV personalities where a majority were attention hungry.

In other words, Netflix dating shows aren’t scripted and do cast many with real intentions of seeking love. The aftermath and drama that ensued following Perfect Match were highlighted and overexposed because of the unique, already-known cast. Chase’s claims carry no more validity than his counterparts, so plenty of the comments can’t ever be taken as the truth. In the meantime, Chase isn’t done here, as he hinted at future appearances and expressed interest in Perfect Match season 2 if offered the opportunity.

Perfect Match season 1 is available to stream on Netflix.
