Author Rick Riordan shares a Percy Jackson and the Olympians set video showing a cheeky look at the Camp Half-Blood set for the Disney+ show. Percy Jackson was previously adapted into two feature films by 20th Century Fox during the 2010s, both of which were criticized for their handling of the beloved source material. The upcoming reimagination for Disney+ is expected to offer a proper adaptation of Riordan's pentalogy of fantasy novels due to the author's direct involvement.

The Adam Project star Walker Scobell leads the Percy Jackson and the Olympians cast as the titular teenager who discovers himself to be the son of the Greek god Poseidon. Alongside Scobell, the cast includes Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, the daughter of Athena who has been training at Camp Half-Blood for five years, and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, Percy's best friend and a satyr disguised as a 12-year-old boy. Jericho alum Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz serve as showrunners on Disney+'s Percy Jackson show, with each season expected to adapt an installment of the book series. The pilot episode is written by Riordan and Steinberg with James Bobin directing.

Now, two weeks after the Percy Jackson series started filming in Vancouver, Riordan is sharing a look at the set on Instagram. The 10-second set video shows an array of tall trees in the forest while the caption reads, "The woods at Camp Half-Blood can be a peaceful place." Check out the set video below:

Riordan's set video comes exactly two weeks after Disney's Percy Jackson show started filming. The first scene they filmed involved only Scobell and Simhadri's characters, which means it likely took place before the pair head to Camp Half-Blood and meet Annabeth, which is why Jeffries wasn't yet involved in the earlier scene. Now, thanks to Riordan's post, it's clear the show is gearing up to or has already started filming scenes with the entire main trio at Camp Half-Blood.

Riordan's video cheekily reveals a look at the show's Camp Half-Blood set without revealing anything substantial, promising he will be able to show more "in due time." The first indication that the show would visit the location came when Jason Mantzoukas was cast as Dionysus, the camp's director, and Glynn Turman as Chiron, a centaur who teaches Latin. The demigod training center is an important location throughout Percy Jackson and the Olympians, so it will only be a matter of time before Riordan can reveal more of the set.
