The fifth season of this hit crime drama just premiered this year, in 2019. For all of you gangster lovers, we're more than convinced you love this 1900-era drama even more. The Peaky Blinders is our favorite British gang, and honestly, we've never been disappointed by this incredible cast and crew. While we definitely have our favorite episodes, it goes without saying that not all of them can be the best.

While they're still great, maybe you could skip these ones if you're in a hurry to get through it. So, by order of the Peaky Blinders, here are the show's 10 worst episodes, ranked. Warning: spoilers ahead.
Blackbird (Season 4, Episode 3) - 8.7/10
Only one episode from the past two seasons made this list, so we think it's safe to say this show has only gotten better with time. In this episode, Luca Changretta is the main enemy, and Arthur struggles to hold out on gypsy tradition (you know, not killing everyone who crosses him).
There's also a traitor in the midst, so this episode is full of twists and turns (they all are though, right?). Honestly, an 8.7 is nothing to be sad about, but we had to pick ten. Good riddance for Luca, though.
Season 2, Episode 3 - 8.7/10
This is the battle of the Irish gangs. Alfie Solomons comes full force in his character, and there's no turning back from the violence of this man. On the other hand, Arthur tries to make amends with the mother of the boy he killed in the boxing ring.
This episode is violent, and kind of devastating, and maybe it was a bit too dark to keep itself off this list. Still, Alfie is mesmerizing, isn't he? Yes, in a horrific and terrifying way.
Season 2, Episode 1 - 8.6/10
In this season premiere, it starts off with Freddie's funeral. Ada returns home, even though she wants no part of the Shelby business. This is also the episode where the Garrison pub blows up, and the boys head to their rival, Irish bar to set things straight.
In fact, this episode is full of drama, and maybe there was just so much that we couldn't quite keep up. We meet the Sabini family, Ada is abducted, Thomas is beat to a pulp, and he is asked to be an undercover agent for Churchill. Like whoa, man! Oh yeah, Polly visits a medium? An 8.6 for this roller-coaster. Also, Tommy's beating was nasty, so.
Season 2, Episode 4 - 8.6/10
In this episode, Arthur tries to take over London's Eden Club. Of course, this gets pretty violent and ugly. We're sure you remember and don't need the gory details. Meanwhile, Thomas is busy getting acquainted with his new horse trainer.
Yes, this is the episode where we meet May Carleton. Clearly, this episode was a bit too brutal and a little too lovey-dovey for the critics' liking. Still, an 8.6/10 isn't bad.
Season 3, Episode 5 - 8.6/10
This episode is Russians vs. Peaky Blinders. For once, we see Tommy get completely out-manipulated, but we know that Tommy always has a trick up his sleeve, right? Well, he does, and he definitely wasn't going down without a fight.
Yes, this is also the episode where Tatiana inspects the naked Arthur and John. Also, Alfie and Arthur kind of get into it. Clearly, this episode still made this list, but at least it was kind of fun. You know, before the Russian gangster threats.
Season 2, Episode 2 - 8.5/10
A lot of season 2 made this list, unfortunately. In this episode, Thomas is hospitalized, after being brutally beaten by Sabini's thugs. Campbell visits him, and they talk about Grace's new marriage in America.
Honestly, we loved this episode because we're introduced to Tom Hardy's brilliant Alfie Solomons, but clearly that wasn't enough to lift this episode's rating. Arthur kills a guy, also, but we also get to meet Michael! New characters all the way, right?
Season 1, Episode 2 - 8.4/10
The very second episode of the series, where Thomas starts with a feud with a gypsy family and finally meets with Inspector Campbell. There's plenty of drama in this episode, and maybe you even forgot about Campbell altogether. He's a pretty bothersome character, so we're not arguing with this 8.4/10.
Besides, clearly this show has only aged with grace and brilliance (and higher IMDb scores). Let's be honest, we couldn't wait for this character to get got, and this was only the second episode with him in it. We'd like to think this show has created better villains since.
Season 1, Episode 3 - 8.4/10
Three episodes from this season made the list, so, maybe it took this series a bit of time to really stick it in gear. In this episode, Tommy discovers that Ada and Freddie are married, and the IRA tries to weasel its way into getting information from Thomas about the stolen guns.
Essentially, this episode is bad news for Tommy. He gets used to it though, right? This is a huge throwback with a bunch of missed characters, but it still *only* scored an 8.4/10.
Season 3, Episode 1 - 8.3/10
In this season premiere episode, it's Tommy's wedding day. Yeah, you see where this is going. This episode probably had you absolutely bewildered, and you were probably too shocked to understand what was going on. Maybe that's why this episode only got an 8.3, and honestly, we're still not over it.
You'll remember the dangerous visitor and the horrible string of events that unfold at the Shelby home. Yeah, we don't want to talk about it, either. We miss you, Grace. We're not crying, you're crying.
Season 1, Episode 1 - 8.2/10
It might be surprising to see the very first episode of this series take the #1 slot on this list. Clearly, this show was only destined to get better. We all remember the pilot, right? Back to horse racing and stolen guns, and the mysterious introduction of the hidden leader, Thomas Shelby.
We know it's the lowest-rated episode, but we still think we're going to go give it a re-watch, anyways. Oh how far Tommy has come, hey? Also, we can definitely play "who's still alive" with this episode.
