One of the best crime drama series of all time, Peaky Blinders, has become a household name around the world, thanks to the unique storylines, brilliant costumes, and quirky settings. Based on the 1900's England, the show depicts the rise of a criminal organization - the Peaky Blinders - from the streets of Birmingham to the whole of England.

Led by the mastermind, Thomas Shelby (a war veteran), the Peaky Blinders are able to get their first betting license in season 1 after they overcame Billy Kimber and took hold of his entire business. In season 2, released in 2014, Tommy's lofty standards took him on another ride that involved blood, smoke, and a lot of cigarettes (really, a lot). In this list, we are going to rank every episode from the second outing of Peaky Blinders.

Season 2, Episode 2 (8.5)

In the second episode of season 2, Ada is rescued from the hands of Sabini's men, while Campbell visits Tommy in the hospital and tells him about something he holds over him. Manned by Curly, Tommy goes on a trip to London while on a boat. There, he meets Alfie Solomons, the leader of the other gang in London.

Back in Birmingham, Tommy gifts Polly a house and promises to her that he will find her kids. Moreover, Arthur is struggling with his life post-war as an unfortunate incident occurs in a boxing ring. Campbell recruits Moss to his side again and wants him to play the Peaky Blinders, which might not end well for him. The episode ends with Polly's son, Michael Gray, making an appearance.

Season 2, Episode 1 (8.6)

In the first episode of season 2, the Garrison Pub is blown up by someone, while the Shelby family attended the funeral for Freddie Thorne. On returning, Tommy was summoned by two officials, who had a hand in blowing up the pub, and they threatened him to do their bidding.

Furthermore, at the start of the episode, it is revealed that Grace shot Campbell in the finale of last season but the latter didn't die and only suffered a fatal injury. In a family meeting, Tommy reveals his intentions to expand his business to London but Esme isn't too happy about it. When the Peaky Blinders visit London, all hell breaks loose.

Season 2, Episode 4 (8.6)

In the fourth episode of season 2, the Digbeth kid gets a funeral, only for the ceremony to end with a slap on Tommy's face. Then, he goes to a meeting with Campbell, who wants the Peaky Blinders' leader to commit another assassination.

Meanwhile, Arthur wreaks havoc at the Eden Club in London as he fires a warning to Sabini's gang. The Peaky Blinders tear the place apart. Tommy hires May to train his new horse - "Grace's Secret" and they bond together at the Garrison Pub. Furthermore, Polly agrees for Michael to be given a job in the Shelby Company Limited. Tommy heads back to London to meet with Ada and see how she's getting on. The episode ends with Tommy calling Grace in New York but he doesn't say a single word.

Season 2, Episode 3 (8.7)

In the third episode of season 2, Campbell chats to Moss about Grace, while Tommy, Arthur, and John take a couple of funny interviews at the Garrison Pub. Back at Polly's house, she and Micheal catch up after being years apart before Tommy introduces him to Arthur and John.

Moreover, Tommy and his new recruits head to meet Alfie but it results in a tense scene that shows just how good Tom Hardy is. In another stressful confrontation, Arthur is almost killed by the mother of the kid he murdered at the boxing ring. Sabini sends a message to the Shelby family by murdering one of their own.

Season 2, Episode 5 (8.9)

In the penultimate episode of season 2, Alfie turns on the Shelby family as he catches Arthur and waits for the police to arrest them. Back in Birmingham, Michael is arrested by Campbell, which is something that makes Polly really angry.

An infuriated Tommy meets with Campbell and asks why Arthur and Michael are in jail, to which Campbell replies that he just wants Thomas to carry out a task as they discussed. In a family meeting, Polly tells everyone that Michael isn't staying, as soon as he gets out of jail. Then, for one of the saddest scenes in the entire series, Polly does something she might regret in order to get Michael out of jail. Moreover, Grace and Tommy finally meet after many years, which prompts Tommy to tell May that they cannot be together as he is still in love with Grace.

Season 2, Episode 6 (9.6)

In the finale of season 2, it's Derby day and the time is ripe for Tommy to execute his master plan that will see Peaky Blinders become a feared criminal organization in the whole of the country.

Meanwhile, Campbell plans one final showdown that would see the end of the Shelby family. Another tense confrontation that occurs during the episode is the one between Tommy and Alfie, as a game of bluffs soon converts into a business agreement. Tommy stares directly towards death but peace will not come easy for the leader of the Peaky Blinders.
