Peaky Blinders is one of the most thrilling and entertaining crime shows on television, and fans of it definitely have their favorite, and least favorite, characters from the Shelby family and their crew. From Tommy Shelby to Polly Gray, there are definitely some very different personalities and dynamics from this series.
For those that also love the teen dystopian drama, Divergent, they'll know that everyone is placed into a faction, based on their personality. It's time to sort this violent and intelligent crew into these unique groups, and see where they'd end up in Beatrice Prior's world.
Arthur Shelby - Dauntless
There is no denying that this character would end up in Dauntless. He's brave, reckless, daring, and strong, and he'd probably scare the socks off even the most powerful Dauntless members. This faction is known for being a bit impulsive and violent, and that's Arthur.
When it comes to taking risks and doing anything to accomplish a task, Arthur would be the best choice, and that would make him a very strong Dauntless - but a very dangerous one.
Lizzie Stark - Erudite
Lizzie is more quiet, but she also knows a lot about what's going on. She's not as outspoken as most Erudite members, but she would definitely be the one to secretly know everyone's secrets.
She is definitely more intelligent and conniving than she lets on, and she certainly values intelligence and knowledge. She'd be a great leader of this faction, actually, because she's also got a good heart.
Ada Shelby - Amity
Ada Shelby sticks out the most in this crime family, and it's because she doesn't want anything to do with violence or corruption. She has a strong backbone, and is definitely intelligent, but if she were to choose - she's probably choose Amity.
She wants a simple and loving life, and wants her family to be together and safe. She's be flourishing in the Amity world, and it would probably make her the happiest she's been.
Michael Gray - Erudite
There's a lot of Erudite out of the characters on this list, and it's probably because these characters are all wickedly intelligent, and knowledge is their biggest asset, among their friends and their enemies. Michael Gray plays innocent, but he's really learning all he can.
He gathers enough knowledge to infiltrate his leadership into the Shelby family, and he's definitely using his brains more than anyone else - besides maybe Tommy. He's a dangerous Erudite, but he's definitely one.
John Shelby - Dauntless
Thomas Shelby might just be the only one of the Shelby boys that wouldn't end up in Dauntless. John, like his other brothers, is all about doing daring and brave things. He has so much pride and courage that he's willing to take on anyone or anything.
Of course, this also doesn't exactly end well for John. However, he'd be a pretty impressive Dauntless for the moments he managed to stay alive. He'd be the loudest in the group.
Polly Gray - Candor
If there's someone that would definitely tell any of these characters what she really thinks, it would be Polly. She values a lot of things, but honesty might just be one of her biggest concerns. She hates being lied to and manipulated, and she wants full transparency from Michael and Tommy.
When she doesn't get it, there's definitely going to be a fire to come. Plus, while Polly has some deep secrets, she is very blunt and not afraid to speak her mind. That makes her a perfect Candor.
Finn Shelby - Dauntless
Unlike Arthur, Finn is somehow more reckless and confident. Arthur has a more powerful blow, but Finn's lack of care and his risk-taking behavior gets the family into a lot of hot water.
He's a Dauntless because he wants to be daring and brave, and he's swimming in confidence and arrogance. Unfortunately for this character, he definitely shows the worst sides of this faction - because his impulsivity usually results in terrible consequences.
Grace Burgess - Abnegation
Grace doesn't fit like a glove into any of the factions, but somehow, it's satisfying to place her in Abnegation. She has the warmest heart of all the characters on the show, and while she's intelligent and capable of manipulation, she really does want what is best for her loved ones.
She is caring and serving, and while she definitely isn't about to live in a world without mirrors, she might have actually been an incredible member of this faction - like Natalie Prior, or Tris herself.
Linda Shelby - Erudite
Linda Shelby could actually give Jeanine a run for her money when it comes to leading this faction, and she's probably be equally hated by everyone that was below her or following her leadership.
This manipulative and conniving character is definitely one for knowledge, and she uses all the things she learns to the best of her advantage - which is usually trying to control Arthur or make waves in the Shelby family.
Thomas Shelby - Erudite
This character is a brilliant mix of Dauntless and Erudite, but he's definitely leaning towards the latter. He can handle himself in a firefight or a fistfight, but his brain is definitely his biggest asset.
Despite whatever is thrown his way - even death - he is always one step ahead of his enemy. He seeks knowledge from all sides and all places, and uses it to deceive, get ahead, and win. He would definitely take over this faction.
