The 2021 feature PAW Patrol: The Movie is the first major film for the beloved children’s animated series of the same name, so where and how can fans watch it? Directed by Cal Brunker, the Canadian-animated film features all the favorite characters from the PAW Patrol television series, along with a few new canine faces voiced by some major celebrities. The film premiered first in the UK and Ireland at the beginning of August 2021, with the Canadian and U.S. releases following shortly after.

With a runtime of 86 minutes, PAW Patrol: The Movie is chock-full of the action-packed fun from the original TV series. The animated film centers on the young boy Ryder (voiced by Will Brisbin) and his crew of search and rescue dogs aptly named the PAW Patrol. Police dog Chase (Iain Armitage), firefighting dog Marshall (Kingsley Marshall), aviator Skye (Lilly Bartlam), recycling pup Rocky (Callum Shoniker), aquatic rescue dog Zuma (Shayle Simons), and construction pup Rubble (Keegan Hedley) work with newcomer Liberty (Marsai Martin) to protect nearby Adventure City from their greatest enemy – the newly-elected Mayor Humdinger (Ron Pardo).

Additionally, PAW Patrol: The Movie (4K UHD) will be available to watch on Prime Video starting Sept. 21, 2021, according to Amazon.

As of yet, any sort of film follow-up to PAW Patrol: The Movie has yet to be announced, but its notable box office and online success is sure to drum up some enthusiasm from the franchise’s young audience. However, for those who can’t wait, a video game based on the film titled PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls was released on August 13th for PC and various consoles. Until then, franchise fans will have to see why PAW Patrol: The Movie's reviews are so positive in theaters or online.
