Paul first appeared in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 1 with his now estranged wife, Karine Staehle, and it's time to talk about his life after the show. As the new season of 90 Day Fiancé begins, viewers are curious to learn where past co-stars are today, including Paul. Unfortunately, their relationship journey has not been an easy one. Despite the tumultuous duo's language barrier, Paul moved to Brazil to be with Karine. In November 2017, the two married, but their relationship concerns continued to spiral out of control. Paul’s insecurities were clear and the trust was certainly lacking, especially after they joined 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Paul continuously inquired about the countless text messages and Instagram comments from other men.

The controversial reality alum Paul from 90 Day Fiance accused Karine of cheating on him, which she denied. In 2018, the riotous duo had their first child, but even the birth of their first son didn't fix their marital issues. Paul's insecurities continued to shine as he claimed she ran away with a musician. In 2020, the couple appeared to take a break with the help of restraining orders against each other. However, the couple later reconciled in Brazil while she was pregnant with their second son. 90 Day Fiancé fans were hoping that the couple worked out their differences after that, but over the last couple of months, Paul and Karine have been in many headlines. With their relationship hanging by a thread, fans are wondering what Before the 90 Days' Paul is doing since their time onscreen.

Alas, it appears their relationship is officially over. After surveillance footage surfaced, Karine was charged with fourth degree assault, and the two have since separated. Paul was living with his mother Mary Staehle and their two sons, but there are also rumors that Karine no longer wants to see the children. Allegedly, Paul filed for divorce in 2021 for this reason as well. However, nothing other than the pending court date is confirmed. Paul was also seen on Tinder in Florida, and Karine has shared her own posts and makeover pictures, which also supports their separation. Although relationship-wise, 90 Day Fiance's Paul doesn't appear to be doing well, his personal life might be improving.

Paul Staehle speaking on 90 Day Fiancé

On Paul's Instagram, he revealed more interesting information. In January, he posted a hint to viewers with the caption "New Beginnings." It was a flyer for Tonia Ryan, a celebrity manager. The following month, she released a short segment of their session on her Tonia Ryan, Mentor YouTube channel, where Paul reveals the biggest changes he wished to make this year. According to Paul, he wants to "make better decisions," and is hoping Tonia can help him handle the normal stresses of being a father and the aftereffects of a terrible relationship.

Aside from the previews about his time with Tonia, the newer Instagram posts appear to be advertisements that many commenters find to be "cryptic." Overall, after the attention from the alleged assault, it appears Before the 90 Days' Paul is working on himself. Hopefully, with the help of his new mentor, he will learn from his mistakes. While the couple seems to be more productive apart, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days fans wish the best for Paul and hope the unruly duo come to a mutual understanding for sake of their sons.
