Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous gives the player a ton of feats to choose from, and these are the best overall options for low-level characters. Feats are special abilities that characters can choose from that exist outside of the boundaries of their class and race, giving the player the chance to customize their heroes as they see fit.

Wrath of the Righteous is much more linear than Kingmaker and it tends to push the player forward a lot more. As such, the player needs to constantly be on top of their character's abilities, and making sure they gel well with the rest of the party. Feats are an important part of this, as gaining as many additive bonuses to attack rolls and AC can be the key to survival.

Wrath of the Righteous has a strong focus on combat and exploration, so a good selection of feats is important for surviving each dungeon crawl. These are the best options for low-level characters, who are only one critical hit away from the big character sheet in the sky.

Combat Reflexes & Seize The Moment in Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous

Pathfinder Kingmaker Amiri

In Pathfinder rules, most characters only get a single attack of opportunity every turn. There is a feat called Combat Reflexes that increases the number of attacks of opportunity to equal the character's Dexterity modifier. This is a great feat to have in Wrath of the Righteous, as there are several mass-battles in the game, where the party and its allies face off against huge groups of enemies, many of which leave themselves open to attacks of opportunity while trying to complete their own objectives.

It helps to give Combat Reflexes to all of the frontline fighters in the group, as they can then benefit from a teamwork feat, called Seize the Moment, which lets them make an attack of opportunity whenever a nearby ally with the same feat achieves a critical threat on the enemy, allowing the party to deal a ton of damage in one round.

Improved Initiative in Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous

An armored Pathfinder character riding a war horse, carrying a sword in one hand and a banner in the other.

Wrath of the Righteous can be a punishing game, and it's possible for enemies to defeat the party in a single action, so long as they get to go first. If an enemy manages to fire off a cause fear or confusion effect with its initial attack and most of the party fails their save, then it's pretty much game over, as the characters will be unable to defend themselves from the beating that is to come.

Improved Initiative might be the best all-around feat in the game, as the ability to perform actions before the enemy can be the key to victory. The +4 bonus to initiative provided by this feat can mean the difference between life and death, as being able to move first can give party members the chance to kill or shut down enemies with status effects.

Spell Penetration in Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous

How Long Every Dungeons & Dragons Edition Was In Print - Pathfinder Considered 3.75 Edition D&D

Wrath of the Righteous involves the players forming a crusade against an army of demons. The player will be fighting lots of demons throughout the course of Wrath of the Righteous, and a lot of these fiends have access to Spell Resistance. This means that all spells have a chance of fizzling out before they affect the demon, before they even need to make a saving throw. Spell Penetration (and its improved version, Greater Spell Penetration) increase the caster's chance of beating the Spell Resistance and ensuring their magic isn't wasted.
