The second beta for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is now live on PC, and developer Owlcat Games has revealed the release date for the full version of the game. Patfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is an upcoming RPG that uses the ruleset from the first edition of the Pathfinder tabletop RPG, which is set in the fantasy world of Golarion. It's a sequel to 2018's Pathfinder: Kingmaker, and it aims to build on that title's strengths while addressing players' and critics' complaints.

Owlcat Games has also revealed that the game will be released in only a few months. Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is due to launch on Steam and GoG on September 2, and the current beta will be the last playable version of the game before launch. Wrath of the Righteous will expand on the gameplay introduced in Pathfinder: Kingmaker, by allowing players to build massive armies and wage crusades against armies of invading fiends. The battle to save Golarion is almost here and those who funded the game will have the chance to experience the epic conflict before everyone else.
