Screen Rant: Your new show Partner Track is coming out on Netflix at the end of August. So what can you tell us? What are you most excited about with this release?

Arden Cho: It's so close. August 26th. We are right around the corner. And I'm so excited that we just get to tell a story that has not been told before. It's very different. It is one that feels really important for now. And I love that I get to be a part of telling it. It's special.

Screen Rant: I was a huge fan of Teen Wolf, and I was also a huge fan of Dominic Sherwood's show Shadowhunters, so I was super excited to find out that you would both be doing this series. What was it like to work together?

Arden Cho: Oh, it was great. It was so funny. Because even when he was just in the process of getting casted—we have a mutual friend, Kat, which I'm sure you know, from Shadowhunters. And it was so great because it's always nice to work with friends and nice to work with people that you want to work with.

I remember, after we had both gotten cast, we had a nice lunch and got to sort of chat about our roles and what we wanted for the show. And I always say Dom prepared me by getting me the "M&A for Dummies" book. He got us both "M&A for Dummies." But, luckily, our writers were so fantastic that we didn't really need the book. But I have it in case I want to go to law school. I have "M&A for Dummies," and I'm going to learn it. Soon.

Screen Rant: Nice!

Arden Cho: Yeah, Dom's great. It was very fun.

Screen Rant: From what the trailer shows, it looks like your characters have this kind of...flirtatious rivalry? What is that dynamic going to look like this season?

Arden Cho: Well, you definitely have to watch it. It's not something that we can easily explain. But you have to watch it. There is definitely a competitive spirit. And obviously the trailer showed that there's some history, but who would have known? Ingrid's just been working for six years. She has not had time for a date. I mean, she's trying to make partner and maybe Murphy gets in the way. Maybe he doesn't. But there's something and Dominic is such a good actor for it. He is definitely lovable and hateable.

Screen Rant: What about your character, Ingrid? What kind of challenges is she going to face? We know she's trying to make partner at this firm, so what else is going on with her this season?

Arden Cho: Ingrid is doing her best but she is struggling with some choices—tough choices. Trying to be the best friend, the best daughter, the best partner-material-M&A-lawyer. I feel like she's just going for it all. She's trying to break that glass ceiling and she's trying to win. But as life throws us so many obstacles, Ingrid is jumping through hoops and on an adventure.
