Parks and Recreation went off the air in 2015 after shooting an amazing 125 episodes over seven seasons, but have you ever wondered what the cast has been up to since the series ended? Ron took a job for the National Parks Department and Leslie went up in the ranks, but what have the actors been up to?

It's hard to think of some of our favorite characters as being real people with other projects, but even Leslie Knope and company had to move on at some time. Here's what the gang has been up to since the series about a ragtag team of civil servants finished their work and went off the air.

LESLIE KNOPE - AMY POEHLER

Leslie Knope - Amy Poehler

Leslie Knope was the star of the show, though she was joined by an incredible cast of characters. When the series began, she was a small town administrator of the Parks department intent on building a park in a vacant lot. When the show ended, she had gone on to become the Governor of Indiana, and eventually, President of the United States.

Since the series wrapped, Amy Poehler has kept herself busy. She voiced Joy in Inside Out in 2014 and worked on numerous films and television series as an actress, writer, executive producer, and director. She is one of the creators of Netflix's 2019 series, Russian Doll.

RON SWANSON - NICK OFFERMAN

RON SWANSON - NICK OFFERMAN

Ron Swanson was always the straight-man of the series, but his hatred of all things government put him at odds with his job and Leslie. That made for comedic gold and you couldn't help but love a bureaucrat who hated bureaucracy. By the end of the series, he took a management position with the National Parks Service.

Nick Offerman didn't have to change much about himself to portray Ron seeing as his love of carpentry was more about him and less about his character. Since the show ended, he has appeared in more than a dozen films and stars in 3 Below and Making It, which he co-hosts with Amy Poehler.

ANDY DWYER - CHRIS PRATT

Andy Dwyer - Chris Pratt

Andy Dwyer started out in the first episode as Ann Perkins' ne'er do well boyfriend whose broken legs from falling into a pit were the impetus for Leslie's desire to build a park. He was only meant to remain on the series for the first season but was so beloved by fans, he went on to become a main character.

Since leaving the series, Chris Pratt has blown up in Hollywood. He's headlined the Jurassic Park revival and plays Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord in the MCU. He also voices Emmet Brickowski in the LEGO Movie franchise, which releases its first direct sequel in early 2019.

APRIL LUDGATE - AUBREY PLAZA

APRIL LUDGATE - AUBREY PLAZA

When the series first began, April Ludgate was a cynical young woman who was entirely disinterested in everything going on around her. Over the seasons, she matured into a caring person who became Ron's assistant and much more. The role was created specifically for Aubrey Plaza whose strange demeanor in casting pushed her into a newly-created part.

Since Parks and Recreation came to a close, Plaza has worked in film with a dozen different roles including Lenore in Dirty Grandpa and Karen Barclay in the remake of Child's Play. She also plays Lenny Busker on Legion and has appeared in numerous television series, including Drunk History and Criminal Minds.

BEN WYATT - ADAM SCOTT

BEN WYATT - ADAM SCOTT

Ben Wyatt originally came to Pawnee in season two as an administrator intent on fixing the books... or closing down the government. He decided to remain in Pawnee due to his attraction to Leslie, whom he eventually married. The two traded top jobs and either one of them may have gone on to become President of the United States; the series was never clear on who.

Adam Scott has kept himself occupied since the show came to an end. He's been in ten films since the series wrapped, but spends most of his time on the small screen. He's appeared on series including Robot Chicken, Drunk History, Veep, and The Good Place, among many others.

TOM HAVERFORD - AZIZ ANSARI

TOM HAVERFORD - AZIZ ANSARI

When we first met Tom Haverford, he was an immature man with lofty and lecherous goals whose sarcasm and poor work ethic made him more of a drain on Leslie's time than a resource. As the series developed, so did he, though he remained somewhat immature. Eventually, he became a successful businessman and someone the audience came to love.

Since leaving the series, Aziz Ansari's career has exploded with numerous appearances in television and film roles. He's hosted Saturday Night Live, co-created Master of None, and even won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for a Comedy Series. His career did take a hit in 2018 due to sexual misconduct complaints that wrapped him up in the #MeToo Movement.

ANN PERKINS - RASHIDA JONES

ANN PERKINS - RASHIDA JONES

Ann Perkins was the person who brought Leslie's attention to the giant, gaping hole next to her home. The two went on to form a friendship as Ann became more involved in local government. She left the series in season six, but returned for a guest appearance later in the season, as well as the series finale.

Since leaving the series, Rashida Jones has continued to work in film and television. She has lent her voice to The Grinch and Inside Out, but she's also worked as a writer having penned the Black Mirror episode "Nosedive." In 2017, she was named a spokeswoman for the Almay brand of cosmetics and spends much of her time pursuing philanthropic efforts.

JERRY GERGICH - JIM O'HEIR

JERRY GERGICH - JIM OHEIR

Garry "Jerry, Larry, Terry" Gergich was the oldest member of the cast and the man who dropped or broke just about everything around him. He may have been a klutz, but he was one of the hardest-working members of the team. He went on to become the Mayor of Pawnee having served 10 terms prior to his death at the age of 100.

Jim O'Heir has been working steadily in Hollywood since 1987 and the conclusion of Parks and Recreation didn't slow him down. Since the show ended, he has appeared in dozens of films and television series including Superior Donuts, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Bill Nye Saves the World.

DONNA MEAGLE - RETTA

DONNA MEAGLE - RETTA

Donna Meagle started out the show as something of an unknown character with little development before she passed into the second season. She developed into a sassy woman whose life and exploits remained mysterious throughout the series. She had an active social life and associated with celebrities without much explanation.

Retta has continued to work as a stand-up comic as well as an actress in numerous films and television series. She played Barbara on Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce for a bunch of episodes, plays Ruby Hill on Good Girls, and was cast to play Mrs. Malinky on Pinky Malinky, which was released in January 2019.

CHRIS TEAGER - ROB LOWE

CHRIS TEAGER - ROB LOWE

Chris Teager was added to the series in the second season as a fastidious organizer whose perky demeanor never seemed to unsettle the other characters like it would in real life. He dated Ann Perkins, but their relationship ended until it was finally mended with a pregnancy that reunited them.

Rob Lowe has been working in Hollywood since 1979 and shows no sign of stopping. He took up the role of Dr. Ethan Willis on Code Black, appeared in several films on television and the silver screen, dropped in on other series, and even created a reality television show with his sons called The Lowe Files.
