star Paris Hilton has reunited with her old best friend Nicole Richie at her recent wedding. In the early 2000s, Paris and Nicole were everyone's favorite dynamic duo. Whether they were sporting Juicy Couture sweatsuits or carrying their matching chihuahuas, it was impossible to escape the two socialites. The trendsetters trademarked phrases like "that's hot" and "loves it," all while possibly inventing the selfie. While they often were the butt of jokes because of their ditziness and rich girl attitude, they were also beloved by fans, especially once they got their own TV show.

In 2003, Fox aired the first season of The Simple Life starring Paris and Nicole. The show revolved around the two friends leaving their mansions, money, and maids behind in Beverly Hills and going to live with a family on a farm in Arkansas. While there, they were responsible for their own chores and finding a job, which often included them shoveling manure or pumping gas. The women were obviously not made out for farm life, and often scandalized the small-town residents by going out at night and flirting shamelessly with the locals. It was a major success and ran for five seasons, although the women had a falling after season 3 and filmed season 4 separately. They ultimately made up and filmed the final season together. Since then, the women haven't been in the public eye together, but it seems that they have remained friends.

After not being seen publicly together in years, Paris and Nicole reunited at the hotel heiress's wedding in Bel Air. According to People, the two were seen laughing, smiling, and posing for photos together on the dance floor. Nicole wore a black sleeveless dress, perfectly contrasting Paris' white wedding gown. The former reality tv star was seated next to Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and Paris' friend, Kim Kardashian.

Though this is the first time Paris and Nicole have been publicly seen together in years, they've made it clear that they remained close friends. During a 2018 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohena viewer called in to ask Nicole when was the last time she spoke to Paris. Nicole admitted that the two hadn't necessarily spoken in a while; however, she explained her idea of a friendship is someone you don't have to talk to every day. The 40-year-old House of Harlow founder said Paris and her are very good friends, and she loves and respects the reality star.

Fans of The Simple Life who have been dying for a reboot finally have something to celebrate. It's always nice to see friends keeping their friendships alive throughout the years and showing up for each other during the special moments in their lives. Though there's no telling if the show will ever make a comeback, at least fans get to see the girls together again, just like they were almost 20 years ago. Paris and her former partner in crime will certainly be best friends forever.
