It's (somehow) been just over 15 years since Paris Hilton stopped being friends with Lindsay Lohan, but the Paris in Love star says that there is no animosity between them. Time has certainly flown by for these two; during the early 2000s, Paris and Lindsay were iconic pop figures whose quotes were uttered by every teenager. From Paris's role on The Simple Life with BFF Nicole Richie to Lindsay's many Disney Channel movies—as well as cult classic Mean Girls—fans may remember a well-known paparazzi photo showing Paris, Lindsay, and Britney Spears hanging out in the same car after an awkward run-in.

Paris and Lindsay were the best of friends after being dubbed the "It" girls of Hollywood as young women, along with other socialities like Kim Kardashian. While the two were frequently pictured partying and hanging out by paparazzi, conflict arose after Paris' then-boyfriend, Brandon Davis, was caught on camera making fun of Lindsay and calling her derogatory names. It all went downhill from there; from then on, Paris and Lindsay frequently traded blows on social media. As late as 2019, signs that Paris and Lindsay still had things to work out were obvious. On an episode of Watch What Happens Live that year, for instance, Paris wasn't able to say three nice things about her former friend despite the amount of time passed.

Appearing on Watch What Happens Live with her mother Kathy Hilton on Wednesday, however, Paris explained to Andy Cohen that she and Lindsay have finally put their differences aside. After playing a game of Say Yaas To The Dress, Andy reminded Paris that the last time she was on the show, he had asked "a shady question about Lindsay Lohan." With that in mind, Andy was interested to know if anything had changed over the past three years. In an example of maturity, 40-year-old Paris responded, "I just feel like we're grown-ups now. I just got married. She just got engaged. We're not in high school. I think it was just very immature and now everything is all good." You can check out a clip of the exchange on WWHL's Twitter below.

As for how Paris and Lindsay were able to reconcile, People first reported that Paris wished Lindsay Lohan well after the star became engaged to Bader Shammas last November, which Paris reiterated to the godfather of Bravo. Between her marriage to Carter Reum and Lindsay's announcement, Paris has been feeling the love more than ever. "I saw that [Lindsay] got engaged when I was on my honeymoon, and I just said congratulations, the new Mrs. explained. "No bad vibes." November was not just a busy month for Paris and Lindsay: Britney Spears was finally freed from her 13-year conservatorship on November 12, which People confirmed Paris was ecstatic about.

Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan patching old wounds over a decade later is met with nothing by excitement from fans, especially those who have followed their feud from the start. While Lohan (nor Britney) have commented on Paris's statements, it's clear by her appearance on WWHL (and Andy's reaction) that the news is nothing but genuine. Cooking With Paris may have ended without barely starting, but viewers are still wondering if Paris in Love will get a second season. In any case, fans are happy to see that their favorite celebrities are getting along as adults.
