Besting a string of other worthy contenders, Parasite took home four awards at the 92nd Academy Awards: Best International Feature Film, Best Original Screenplay, Best Director for Bong, and the prestigious Best Picture. Going into this year's awards seasons, the movie was already a favorite during the festival circuit, nabbing Palm d'Or at Cannes Film Festival where it debuted last May. Aside from being a critical hit, it's also a box office winner, becoming the highest-grossing South Korean movie with $167.6 million total haul worldwide.

Where To Watch Parasite's Kim Family Actors

Song Kang-ho as Kim Ki-taek: The father of the Kim family who becomes the Parks' driver. Song boasts a long acting resume with a string of critically-acclaimed movies. He has a close working relationship with Bong Joon-ho having starred in several of his films like Memories of Murder (2003) and The Host (2006). He played Yun Tae-goo in 2008's South Korean Western film, The Good, the Bad, the Ugly. He also appeared alongside Chris Evans and Tilda Swinton in another Bong project, Snowpiercer. His next projects include Korean films Fifth Column and Emergency Declaration.

Choi Woo-sik as Kim Ki-w00: The son of the Kim family who tutors Da-hye. Starting his acting career in the early 2010s with supporting roles in Korean dramas such as Rooftop Prince (2012) and Special Affairs Team TEN (2011-2013), his claim to fame was through the indie coming-out-of-age movie Set Me Free (2014). In 2017, he gained international acclaim starring in the Netflix original, Okja (where he first worked with Bong) and the zombie thriller, Train to Busan. Outside of acting, fans may want to catch him in the variety show Laws of the Jungle in Nicaragua (2015) to know more about him personally. He has Time to Hunt, Puppy, Past Lives and Wonderland on the docket for this year.

Park So-dam as Kim Ki-jeong: The Kim family daughter who is Da-song's art therapist. After starring in smaller parts, Park made it to mainstream popularity for her work in the mystery thriller The Silenced (2015) which got her the Best Supporting Actress prize from Busan Film Critics Awards. She then starred in blockbusters such as Veteran (2015) and The Throne (2015), but it's playing an evil possessed high school in the supernatural mystery The Priest that solidified her position as one of South Korea's rising best actresses. For a lighter watch, Park also starred in the medical drama A Beautiful Mind (2016) and Cinderella with Four Knights (2016). Last year, she was among the main cast of the variety show, Three Meals a Day: Mountain Village. She'll return to the small screen this year with A Record of Youth where she'll play an aspiring make-up artist.

Jang Hye-jin as Kim Chung-sook: The Kim family mother who becomes the Parks' new housekeeper. Aside from Parasite, Jang had a couple of other films that released in 2019 like Family Affair and The House of Us. She first worked with Song in the 2007 film Secret Sunshine which was also a favorite during that year's festival circus. She played Park Myung-Suk, while he was the lead as Jong Chan opposite Jeon Do-Yeon's Shin-Ae. Jang currently stars in the TVN/Netflix Original series Crash Landing On You as a wealthy North Korean mother, Ko Myeong-Eun.

Lee Sun-kyun as Park Dong-Ik: The father of the Park family. Best known for starring in widely-popular Korean dramas such as White Tower and Coffee Prince (both from 2007). He focused on low budget films like Paju (2009) which won him the Best Actor Award at the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International. Lee has a string of successful small screen projects over the years like Pasta (2010), Miss Korea (2013), the critically-acclaimed My Mister (2018), and Prosecutor Civil War (2019). As for variety shows, he's a cast member of Tran-Siberian Pathfinders where he alongside fellow celebrity friends were sent on a trip across Russia using the railway system.

Cho Yeo-jeong as Park Yon Gyeo: The mother of the Park family. Known for her leading roles in the films The Servant (2010) and The Concubine (2012), Cho also has a slew of hit TV dramas under her belt like I Need Romance (2011), Lovers of Haeundae (2012), and Woman of 9.9 Billion (2019). She played the abducted wife in The Target (2014) which was a remake of the French action-thriller Point Blank. In 2015, she delved into straight comedy with Casa Amor: Exclusive for Ladies. She was also a cast member of the variety show of Law of the Jungle in Caribbean from 2013 and last year's Surfing House.

Jeong Ji-so as Park Da-hye: The daughter of the Park family. After getting her start as a child actress in the series May Queen (2012), Jeong has grown up in front of the camera. She played young Ki Seung-Nyang in Empress Ki (2013), young Jang Ha-Na in Hyde, Jekyll, Me (2015), and young Oh Yeon-Joo in W (2016).

Jung Hyeon-jun as Park Da-song: The son of the Park family. Like his co-star Jeong, Jung got his start as a child star. The eight-year-old actor appeared in a string of TV shows like Queen for Seven Days and You Are Too Much both from 2017; Waves, Waves (2018); and Nokdu Flower, At Eighteen, and Vagabond from 2019. Parasite is his first big screen project.

Lee Jung-eun as Gook Moon-gwang: The original housekeeper for the Park family. While Lee has a long history of playing roles on he big screen, she's mostly known for her work on TV. She was in Oh My Ghost (2015), Remember (2015-2016) and The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop (2016). Lee played Joon-hyeong's mother in the widely popular show Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo and Jae-chan's mom in While You Were Sleeping (2017). She also starred in Fight for My Way (2017), When the Camelia Blooms (2019) and the Netflix original My Holo Love (2020).

Park Myung-hoon as Geun Sae: Moon-gwang's husband who is hidden in the secret basement. Park has a relatively shorter resume compared to his adult co-stars. He appeared in films like Alive (2014), Snowy Road (2017), and Ash Flower (2017). Meanwhile, he also had roles in dramas such as Revolutionary Love (2017), The Beauty Inside (2018) and Crash Landing On You (2019) where he incidentally plays a high-ranking North Korea military officer that's close with Jang's character.

Park Geun-rok as Yoon: The Park family's original chauffeur. Previously working with Bong Joon-ho in Okja, Park also appeared in a number of Korean films over the years like Crazy Romance (2019) and Room No. 7 (2017). He previously worked with Choi in the 2014 movie Set Me Free. Park also starred in TV shows such as The Miracle We Met (2018) and Designated Survivor: 60 Days (2019).

Park Seo-jun as Min-Hyuk: Ki-woo's friend who introduces him to the Park family. Park has surged in popularity over the last several years thanks to consecutive hits both on the big and small screen. He was in shows like Dream High 2 (2012), A Witch's Love (2014), Kill Me, Heal Me (2015), She Was Pretty (2015), Fight for My Way (2017) and What's Wrong with Secretary Kim (2018). Fans can now watch him on the Netflix original Itaewon Class (2020). Meanwhile, he was in film such as The Beauty Inside (2015) and Midnight Runners (2017).
