There are several actors from Netflix's Marvel series in Ozark season 3. With so many familiar faces from Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist, Ozark is an ideal series to jump into for fans who miss the TV shows about the Defenders which have been canceled by Netflix.

Ozark centers on Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) and his wife Wendy (Laura Linney), who transplanted their family from Chicago to Osage Beach, Missouri. This is because Marty, who was a financial planner, secretly laundered money for Mexican drug lord Omar Navarro (Felix Solis). Meanwhile, Wendy had her own illicit criminal endeavors and the Byrdes continued their life of crime in the Ozarks while trying to launch legitimate businesses as a cover. After trying in vain to keep the truth from their teenage children, Charlotte (Sofia Hublitz) and Jonah (Skylar Gaertner), eventually, the Byrde children found out their parents are criminals and had no choice but to go all-in with the family's real business.

Ozark season 3 continued the story of the Byrdes trying to stay alive in spite of the myriad dangers they face and enemies around every corner. But Ozark season 3 also introduced a slew of supporting characters pulled from Netflix's dearly departed Marvel series as well, which makes Ozark almost feel like a mini-Marvel universe in Osage Beach.

Tom Pelphrey Played Ward Meachum In Iron Fist & Ben Davis In Ozark

Tom Pelphrey joined Ozark season 3 as Ben Davis, the dangerously bi-polar younger brother of Wendy Byrde. Marvel fans remember Pelphrey as Ward Meachum in Iron Fist. The best frenemy of Danny Rand (Finn Jones), Ward is the head of Rand Enterprises and a recovering alcoholic with deep-rooted daddy issues. Ward and Danny went off into their own adventure at the end of Iron Fist season 2 and it's a shame Marvel fans didn't get to see what came next in Iron Fist season 3.

Skylar Gaertner Played Young Matt In Daredevil & Jonah Byrde In Ozark

Skylar Gaertner is a familiar face to Marvel fans because he played the teenage Matt Murdock in the flashbacks to the blind Defender's origin in Daredevil. Gaertner's young Matt met the blind ninja named Stick (Scott Glenn) and began his training to eventually become the adult costumed crimefighter played by Charlie Cox. In Ozark, Jonah is a chip off the old block and flirts with his dark side, reflecting his criminal parents.

Janet McTeer Played Alisa Jones In Jessica Jones & Helen Pierce In Ozark

Janet McTeer played Alisa, the superpowered and rage-fueled mother of Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) in Jessica Jones season 2. In Ozark season 3, McTeer's character Helen Pierce is the no-nonsense lawyer to drug kingpin Omar Navarro but she is also a mother who has problems with her teenage daughter Erin (Madison Thompson).

Lisa Emery Played Louise Thompson In Jessica Jones & Darlene Snell In Ozark

In Jessica Jones season 1, Lisa Emery played Louise Thompson, the mother of Kevin Thompson AKA Kilgrave in the flashbacks to the villain's origin. In Ozark, Emery plays the "batsh*t crazy" Darlene Snell, who cornered the heroin market in Osage Beach, Missouri, and is obsessed with baby Zeke, her adopted infant son.

Jessica Frances Dukes Played Grace In Jessica Jones & Maya Miller In Ozark

Jessica Frances Dukes played Grace, the home shopping network co-host of Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor), in Jessica Jones season 3. Dukes has a more substantial role in Ozark season 3 as the pregnant FBI Agent Maya Miller, who is assigned to audit Marty Byrde's casino, the Missouri Belle, and tries to recruit the money launderer to turn states' evidence against Omar Navarro.

Charlie Tahan Played Scarecrow In Gotham & Wyatt Langmore In Ozark

DC TV fans can also find a familiar face in Charlie Tahan, who played the villainous Jonathan Crane AKA The Scarecrow in Gotham. In Ozark season 3, Tahan plays Wyatt Langmore, the cousin of Ruth Langmore, who still mourns the death of his father, Russ (Marc Menchaca).
