The Outsider TV Show Story

The Outsider Ben Mendelsohn under arrest

It’s expected that The Outsider series will follow the same plot beats as Stephen King’s original novel. The story takes place in Flint City, Oklahoma where a local teacher and Little League coach is arrested for the murder of a young boy. The story begins in what seems like a typical detective story fashion where the town is trying to piece together the facts about a gruesome murder. Being a Stephen King story, things take a turn towards the weird when supernatural forces makes themselves known. A veteran cop and an unusual investigator are brought together to question what they believe in and find out the truth behind what’s happening. The Outsider TV show stands to be an interesting murder mystery that spins out of control in a way Stephen King’s best stories often do.
