Tomorrow, November 16, developer People Can Fly plans to deploy Outriders' New Horizon update, which will add new Expeditions and a transmog system. To the dismay of many, Outriders launched without transmog options, a system whereby players can alter the outward appearance of one item to adopt the look of another while retaining the original item's stats. Perhaps this addition and others will bring users back to Outriders after months of stagnation in terms of fresh content.

The next major update for Outriders, titled New Horizon, goes live across all platforms on Tuesday, November 16. It most notably introduces the much-coveted transmog system, in addition to four new Expeditions, extra weapon skins, and rebalanced Classes. New Horizon also does away with timers in Expeditions, People Can Fly noted in a press release. The studio overhauled Tiagos' Expedition store, too, and focused its efforts on rolling out several general improvements to the game. Tomorrow's content update marks but another step in the team's long-term commitment to improving upon the player experience. People Can Fly outlined all of the above and more in the following spotlight video for Outriders' New Horizon patch.

The transmog feature arguably counts among the most fascinating additions to the role-playing experience. And the best part is that it Outriders' transmog system won't ask users to spend real money through microtransactions or fake money via in-game resources to enjoy its offerings. Whether or not the changes in New Horizon are enough to encourage lapsed players to return in droves is another matter entirely, though.
