Most TV fanatics will agree that one of the best feelings in the world is watching a villain get their comeuppance — especially those who populate Outlander. For years, viewers have watched many people torment Claire and her family, with many of the antagonists being responsible for their trauma and pain.

It was always satisfying to watch as the Frasers and MacKenzies team up together to bring them to justice. However, there are fans who would suggest death was too kind for some of these sadists and sociopaths. They would have liked for Claire and her family to get some legal justice in certain cases, too.

Horrocks

Horrocks may not be the first person who comes to mind when fans think of villains. However, he is just as much responsible for Jamie's torment as any of the other antagonists. In season 1, fans will remember that Horrocks was a redcoat deserter who informed Jamie of the real culprit behind the 1740 Fort William murder.

Although fans thought Horrocks was an ally, opinions soon changed when he blackmailed Jamie for money in exchange for his silence. While he got a swift death from Ian, fans believe Horrocks got off way to easily when the Watch realized he had helped with the Redcoats' ambush and got Jamie captured.

Richard Brown

Richard may not be as extreme as all the other villains on this list but he has committed some heinous crimes. During the Battle of Alamance, Richard attempted to kill a comrade in cold blood and destroyed Claire's medicine to prevent her from saving him.

He creates a vigilante group and tells Jamie that he will take the law into his hands if they aren't protected. Fans also can't forget the chilling warning Richard gave the Fraser patriarch over his brother's death. He has yet to receive punishment for his actions, which means his torment will continue.

Geneva Dunsany

Geneva is another person fans wouldn't consider to be a mainstream villain, but she did deserve to be punished for the crime she committed. While most people see her as a victim, one has to wonder if they forgot she had raped Jamie after blackmailing him into sleeping with her.

Although fans understood her fear of marital life, it still doesn't excuse why she abused her power. She even took great pleasure in it. While Jamie made it clear he didn't reciprocate her feelings, he only agreed to the deal to protect his family. She deserved to be stripped of her title and status.

Duke Of Sandringham

The Duke Of Sandringham in Out

The Duke of Sandringham was one of the first villains whom fans couldn't wait to see the back of. Ever since the viewers found out the man had reneged on his promise to help Jamie, everyone could see him for the slimy weasel he was.

Sandringham became even more repulsive when the viewers found out he was the one who orchestrated the attack that resulted in Mary Hawkins being raped. While Mary got her revenge with the help Murtagh, fans would have liked it if the public had found out about Sandringham's transgressions before his death.

Le Comte St. Germain

Comte St. Germain at court.

Comte St. Germain was another villain that easily got under the skin of the viewers. Especially when he started his vendetta against Claire after she got all his profits and cargo destroyed. Even when Claire stated her actions were to prevent a smallpox outbreak, the Comte was still determined to get vengeance.

It didn't take long before he committed his first act, lacing a pregnant Claire's wine with cascara, which makes her extremely sick. He even continues scheming and taunting the Frasers afterward, getting in the way of their plans. Although he does end up dying, fans would have been satisfied with the exit if it was for the right reasons.

Laoghaire MacKenzie

Laoghaire

Laoghaire is one of the show's villains that deserved to be brought to justice a long time ago for the crimes she committed against Claire; she almost ruined Claire's life with her obsession with Jamie. Even after Claire confronted her about the ill-wish, Laoghaire's methods got more extreme.

Remember when she tried to have Claire executed for being a witch? Or how she shot Jamie after she tried to kill Claire? Since Laoghaire has never properly faced the consequences of her actions, her vendetta against Claire continues to grow. She should have been exiled for her transgressions.

Geillis Duncan

After everything she did, did no one else think Geillis' death was a bit anti-climatic? From season 1, it was pretty clear that Geillis had a dark side as she murdered Arthur Duncan. However, no one realized what a complete psychopath she was when she became "The Bakra."

Come season 3, Geillis had murdered five husbands and managed to become the owner of a plantation. She was also responsible for the deaths of many young men, even kidnapping and raping Young Ian while looking for the stones. Considering all the blood on her hands, Geillis deserved to have a prolonged punishment rather than a quick death.

Lionel Brown

As everyone knows, Lionel led a party of men to Fraser's Ridge, where they attacked Marsali and killed Geordie. Since Lionel discovered Claire was responsible for the contraceptive advice his wife received, he decided to get revenge on Claire by kidnapping and torturing her.

He further repulsed fans when Claire was forced to endure a sexually violent attack at the hands of him and his men. While Jamie and his men executed Lionel's crew, for some reason he showed Lionel mercy. It is only because Marsali saw what his presence was doing to Claire that she decided to kill him. Lionel should have faced lawful justice for his actions.

Stephen Bonnet

Stephen Bonnet Outlander

Stephen Bonnet was one man who deserved more than the merciful death he got at the end of his tenure, especially if the viewers take into account all the crimes he committed. He robbed Jamie's ship, killed Leslie, and tried to kill an innocent child over a suspected case of smallpox on board his ship.

Let's not forget how he traumatized and tormented Brianna for years. The last straw had to be his attempt to traffic her off. While he was sentenced by law to drown, he didn't suffer much as Brianna shot him in the head. If it was compassion, he didn't deserve it.

Captain Jack Randall

Tobias Menzies (Black Jack Randall)- Outlander 301

By far, the worst villain has to be Jack Randall. The man was an absolute sadist. He broke Jamie's spirit, tried to accost Jenny and Claire, and made several attempts on their lives. He even killed a comrade just to frame Jamie.

While it looked like the Scotsman would get revenge on Culloden, fans felt cheated when Randall was granted a quick death. It would have been satisfying if his battalion discovered his transgressions and stripped him of his titles and rank. He didn't deserve to have an honorable legacy.
