Since the release of the hit historical fiction show, Outlanderaudiences have been beguiled by the settings, costumes, and the fierce main protagonist, Claire (played by Caitriona Balfe). So much so that that many of the show's fans have used the character as inspiration for cosplays.

Here is a look at the top ten cosplay recreations of Claire (Beauchamp) Randall Fraser in the STARZ's Outlander

"That Amount Of Time Doesn't Exist."

Sheila's cosplay was a fantastic recreation of one of Claire's iconic costumes in season two, when the Frasers attempted to change history in France.

The vibrant floral patterns are bold and the hat that is perfectly positioned to cover the cosplayer's face is the perfect way to embody Claire's mysterious nature as a time traveler.

“It Was A Beautiful Bright Autumn Day, With Air Like Cider And A Sky So Blue You Could Drown In It.”

This cosplayer worked to show an older version of Claire Randall Fraser circa season four.

This cosplay by the tree is so accurate that audiences would think if this cosplayer turned around, it would actually be Caitriona Balfe herself!

"Last I Was Here I Was Claire Randall, Then Claire Beauchamp And Claire Fraser. The Question Was, Who Did I Want To Be?"

This cosplayer channels the Scottish Highlands that Claire experiences in the first season of Outlander.

Using a basket for Claire's past-time of foraging, the prop adds to the characterization, while the blurred setting gives more of an appeal to the aesthetic of the Scottish countryside.

“He Had Called Me That From The First; The Gaelic Word For Outlander, A Stranger. An Englishman. First In Jest, Then In Affection.”

The cosplaying duo acts as Claire and Jamie on their wedding day, with costumes that mirror the show. The historical setting adds glamour, drama, and a Celtic vibe to the photo. The foliage also helps frame the photo in a natural way that adds to the emphasis of the countryside within the show.

Between the cosplayers framed in the photo from the foliage and arches, to the decadent costumes and the characters poses, if the Frasers had a wedding cake, this would most certainly take the cake. This jaw-dropping cosplay would have every Sassenach saying "I do."

"A Magic Spring? I Don't Think Captain Randall Would Be Convinced."

While this cosplayer wears a costume that commonly recreated in Claire Fraser cosplays, the setting that was chosen is absolutely stunning.

Viewers would think this image was of Caitriona Balfe's stunt double right off the set of the latest Outlander episode.

"I'm Not The Meek And Obedient Type."

The emerald green dress was complimented with the plaid tartan pattern and the dark shawl wrap that Claire commonly wore in the first season. This cosplay looks like a recreation of the promotional posters of season one, which is a welcome and refreshing way to stage the photos for the costume.

The photo editing is stunning. Overall, this cosplay show the strength and femininity that is Claire Randall Fraser.

"So Time, Space, History Be Damned."

It's pretty great to see these cosplayers pose alongside others at a convention. The wedding dress does not seem outlandish in this setting, because Dracula was posed right alongside the Claire and Jamie cosplayers.

In a mashup of cosplays like this, the "time, space, history..." quote seems apt, because worlds are colliding at this cosplay convention.

"I Know All Of This Because...Because I Am From The Future."

Cosplayer, "littlelottie", poses at the Sassenach in her new surgery room at Fraser's Ridge. Even though the costume that the cosplayer wears is from the earlier seasons where Claire is in Scottish Highlands, but the surgery is set in Fraser's Ridge, this overall cosplay is a great mixture of where the show started versus where it is going.

The stages cosplay image is a great way to recreate Claire Randall Fraser in her natural element (whether that be in the 1970s or the 1770s): her surgery.

"I’m Going To Hold You To That, James Fraser."

This posed cosplay is a great recreation of Claire's costuming on the show. The Autumn, earthy colors match the character's wardrobe in both The Scottish Highlands and Fraser's Ridge.

The cosplayer's curls look very natural as well and really add to the authenticity of the cosplay. Incorporating the tartan wrap that Claire wears in the first episode is a fantastic touch that is not seen as often in cosplays, compared to the tartan skirt.

"Take me home to Lallybroch."

This image was taken at the very location Lallybroch is filmed at on the show Outlander.

The cosplayers' costumes, poses, and overall ambiance are so authentic to the show's characters, that this image could be mistaken for a screengrab of Outlander.
