Netflix’s Outer Banks brings more excitement, drama, and adventure for the teens in season 3, including several returning and new members of the Outer Banks cast. Created by Josh and Jonas Pate, Outer Banks follows a group of teens on a North Carolina island that face class warfare while going on a Goonies-like adventure for lost gold. The series was a bona fide hit among young audiences, winning awards at the People’s Choice Awards and MTV Movie & TV Awards. Outer Banks’ first season saw the Pogues searching for the sunken treasure of the Royal Merchant, which John B’s father had been searching for before he went missing.

The second season begins with the Pogues mourning John B and Sarah Cameron until they realize they survived a hurricane at sea and made their way to the Bahamas. Things heat up back in the Outer Banks between the Kooks and Pogues while the groups search for an even more important treasure. Season 3 of Outer Banks sees the Pogues marooned on a deserted island that seems to be the ideal place for the carefree lifestyle they’ve been seeking, but new threats arise in the form of old and new enemies. The Outer Banks cast expands to include some new characters and make others more central to the story.
