One of the reasons why Netflix's Outer Banks has done so well worldwide is due to casting. The young actors who play those in the Pogues and the Kooks are so well-chosen that their chemistry is obvious on-screen. And thanks to social media, it looks like their chemistry follows them off-screen too.

Between Madelyn Cline (Sarah Cameron) and Chase Stokes (John B.) dating on-screen and off to Madison Bailey (Kiara Carrera), Jonathan Daviss (Pope Heyward), and Rudy Pankow (JJ Maybank) being best friends with each other, Outer Banks has become a family-like affair that has fans begging for season 3.

An ongoing war throughout Outer Banks is between the Pogues and the Kooks. The battle between the Pogues and Kooks doesn't make too much sense to viewers, but it's a hatred based on social class. While the Kooks are close-knit, there's nothing like the bond between the Pogues. And according to Madelyn Cline's Instagram, the Pogues get along with each other off-screen too.

A Cast Who Sticks Together

Outer Banks is one teen drama that's easy to binge on Netflix. The mystery/thriller takes viewers on a wild ride throughout the islands of North Carolina and beyond while a group of people searches for missing treasure from a sunken ship, the Royal Merchant.

In the series, the Pogues and Kooks rarely help each other but in this behind-the-scenes picture, they get along just fine. Both Austin North (Topper) and Drew Starky (Rafe) are out on the town with the Pogues!

The Pogues Finally Go To School

A majority of Outer Banks takes place in the summer, but in season 2, school finally starts. Funny enough, the Pogues are rarely seen in school because they're on the hunt for treasure (not to mention running for their own safety). Their place within the education system is one of the small plot holes that doesn't quite make sense, but the main focus of the show is on finding the gold — not school.

Here, Jonathan Daviss is looking down on a sleeping Chase Stokes and Rudy Pankow outside of the school they should be attending.

That's A Wrap!

Chase Stokes posted this behind-the-scenes video of the cast on their final day of shooting for the second season of Outer Banks. There were plenty of things that fans wanted to happen in season 2 and now can't wait for Netflix to give the green light to season 3.

Seeing the excited faces of the cast proves how close they were off-set and only makes fans want more behind-the-scene glimmers of the cast.

New Friends & Treasure Hunters

Madison Bailey plays everyone's favorite female Pogue, Kiara. Although Kiara is technically a Kook and comes from money, she aligns herself with the Pogues and their lifestyle. As time goes on, the Pogues expand their circle and welcome Sarah and Cleo to their group. They weren't necessarily happy to welcome Sarah to the Pogue life because of her wealth and former friendship with Kiara, but she rounded out the group. Likewise, Cleo went from living a life on the run in the Bahamas to making a family for herself with the Pogues. The Pogues didn't always make the best decisions, but they did by adding Sarah and Cleo to their troop.

In A World Where Rafe & JJ Are Friends

JJ and Rafe are different in the sense that one is a Pogue and the other is a Kook, but they oddly enough are incredibly similar. Both have issues with their parents because Rafe thinks that his dad likes his sister Sarah better than him, while JJ's father is aloof and abusive. They're also both reckless and have a low self-worth. In the world of Outer Banks, these two would never hang out with each other but in real life, these two (Drew Starkey and Rudy Pankow) seem to get along perfectly on set.

The Remix Fans Didn't Know They Needed

Jonathan Daviss posted a behind-the-scenes photo of him, Chase, and Rudy posing for a photo and it ironically looks just like Timmy Turner, Chester McBadbat, and A.J. from Nickelodeon's Fairly Odd Parents. With the caption, "The absolute accuracy of this," fans agreed that the Pogues have come full circle with a beloved children's cartoon.

Getting Ready For Their Close Up

As much as fans ship John B. and Sarah, Sarah had her endearing moments with Topper. The two had a lot in common (especially with both of them being Kooks), but Sarah's eyes have always been on John B. Topper had a hard time accepting the fact that Sarah wanted someone like John B. instead of him, but he eventually stopped caring and did things for her out of love instead of jealousy. Here, Austin and Madelyn are getting ready for their closeup in the hair and makeup room, with Austin poking fun at his "breakout."

A Group Shot At Tannahill

The Camerons live at one of the most expensive homes in the Outer Banks, the Tannahill Plantation. With the bay being in the backyard and with Ward Cameron being one of the most intelligent and wealthiest men in the area, everyone had their eyes on Tannahill. However, Tannahill Plantation had a deep history that's connected to Denmark Tanny and, as fans find out, Pope through ancestry. Above, the cast poses with the entrance to Tannahill.

Pogues & Kooks Unite!

This BTS photo proves that the Pogues and Kooks get along perfectly well when they're not filming. With Chase, Jonathan, Rudy, Drew, and Austin all hugging each other, it's one happy family on the Outer Banks set. Fans agree that it's weird seeing this group so close in a candid shot but it goes to show how spot-on their acting is. In the show, these two groups loathe each other, causing the viewers to pick sides. But thanks to this picture, the Kooks and Pogues get along perfectly well.
