The Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic show that began on October 31, 2010. The tenth season should come about in October of this year to provide more details about this group that is trying to survive zombies and other threats.

With a spinoff series that has been around since 2015, an announcement about three movies, and the inspiration from comics, this is a known show with some interesting characters in it. But where else can fans see these actors and actresses? Down below, we will go over other TV shows and films that have featured these familiar faces!

Norman Reedus

A fan favorite on this show is Daryl Dixon, who is played by Norman Reedus. His notable other appearances include being in The Boondock Saints as Murphy MacManus in 1999, in Blade II as Scud in 2002, in Charmed as Nate Parks in 2003, and in The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day as Murphy MacManus in 2009.

He was also the Detective in Morgue from American Gangster and the Trucker in Vacation—two more roles in two more known movies! Furthermore, Reedus will be the voice of Sam Porter Bridges in an upcoming video game called Death Stranding.

Melissa McBride

Another star from The Walking Dead is Melissa McBride; she portrays the tough chick Carol Peletier. Before landing this role, McBride had been in shows like Matlock, In the Heat of the Night, Walker, Texas Ranger, and Dawson's Creek, as her IMDb credits date back to the year 1993.

She was also the Woman With Kids at Home in The Mist—a known scary movie!—from the year 2007. Based on her importance in and success from TWD, fans can surely expect to see a lot more of this actress.

Andrew Lincoln

Andrew Lincoln is definitely best known for his role as the leader of this group and the star of this show: Rick Grimes. His second big part came before this, though, in 2003, as he was in the holiday rom-com flick Love Actually as Mark.

Some other roles include being Robert Bridge from Afterlife in 2005 to 2006, as well as appearing in two TV mini-series that are both based on books: Wuthering Heights and Canterbury Tales. Many people are very interested in his next project, too, which is The Walking Dead Movie that was recently announced!

Lauren Cohan

Next up is Maggie’s actress, Lauren Cohan. She has been in Casanova from the year 2005, Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj as Charlotte from 2006, Supernatural as Bela Talbot from 2007 to 2008, Chuck as Vivian Volkoff in 2011, and The Vampire Diaries as Rose from 2010 to 2012.

Danai Gurira

On The Walking Dead, actress Danai Gurira portrays another strong female lead, Michonne. Her first role, as seen on IMDb, was on an episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent in 2004, and she has been on other TV shows as well, such as Lie to Me, Treme, and Robot Chicken. In the Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast video, she was the voice of Fury.

Of course, she has recently played Okoye in superhero flicks like Avengers: Infinity War, Black Pantherand Avengers: Endgame. There are also rumors that Gurira will be in an upcoming Star Trek sequel and a movie called Godzilla vs. Kong.

Christian Serratos

Christian Serratos is up next, and she plays Rosita Espinosa. In 2005, she appeared in an episode of Zoey 101. In 2006, she was in the TV movie Cow Belles. In 2006, she was also in an episode of 7th Heaven. In 2007, she was in an episode of Hannah Montana.

What started out as small appearances—like being in an episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent—led to multiple appearances on shows and, eventually, Sonequa Martin-Green’s role as Sasha Williams on The Walking Dead.

She was also in Army Wives as Kanessa Jones, The Good Wife as Courtney Wells, Gossip Girl as Joanna, Once Upon a Time as Tamara, New Girl as Rhonda, and Star Trek: Discovery as Michael Burnham. Some more exciting news is that her IMDb page says that she will also appear in the upcoming Space Jam 2!

Jon Bernthal

Remember when Jon Bernthal was Shane Walsh? Well, before that, this actor appeared in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian as Al Capone, Eastwick as Raymond Gardener, The Wolf of Wall Street as Brad, Daredevil / The Punisher as Frank Castle, The Accountant as Brax, Baby Driver as Griff, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt as Ilan / Mysterious Man.

A fun fact about this busy and on-the-rise actor is that Bernthal’s IMDb page lists out eight different things that are in the post-production phase, that are currently filming, or that have been announced already, too!

Austin Nichols

A lot of people have come and gone on this TV show—including Austin Nichols, who played Spencer Monroe. Back in the day, he was actually in a Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen movie, Holiday in the Sun!

Nichols also appeared in Glory Road from the year 2006; in Deadwood in the year 2006; in Friday Night Lights, the TV show from the year 2007, in the film LOL from the year 2012; in One Tree Hill from 2008 to 2012; as well as in the series Bates Motel as Sam Loomis in the year 2017.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan

Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been in television series such as The Burning Zone, ER, Walker, Texas Ranger, JAG, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Star Trek: Enterprise, Monk, The O.C., and Weeds. He has been in films such as P.S. I Love You and Red Dawn.
