What Happened In Oshi No Ko Episode 3?

Aqua Hoshino

Oshi no Ko episode 3, “Manga-Based TV Drama”, continued Aqua’s reunion with Kana Arima, who entered a dry spell since her days as a child actor. Kana invites Aqua to guest star on the final episode of the drama Sweet Today, and Aqua agrees to it because the producer, Masaya Kaburagi, is someone Aqua suspects of being his father and, therefore, the one who orchestrated Ai’s death. Aqua initially only wanted to gather a DNA sample from Kaburagi, but after hearing Kaburagi make fun of Kana, despite Kana being the only actor doing a good job, Aqua decides to help Kana by going all out in his performance.

Oshi No Ko Episode 4 Will Continue Aqua’s Revenge

Aqua and Kana

With how Oshi no Ko episode 3 ended, episode 4 is sure to solidify the foundations of Aqua and Kana’s relationship going forward. Not only will Kana learn that Aqua actually is a good actor, but the fact that he revealed his true talents just to help her is going to mean a lot to Kana, seeing how she never forgot about him since they were kids. Whether things change on Aqua’s end is up in the air, but his actions will still make it clear that he respects her and undoubtedly invoke a change in their dynamic.

Additionally, episode 4 should also continue Aqua’s revenge story. With the show not even halfway over, Kaburagi is likely a red herring and will be revealed to not be Aqua’s father, but since he was an associate of Ai’s, he still might be able to provide Aqua with useful information that can lead him to his real father. Whatever the case, there are plenty of ways for Oshi no Ko episode 4 to continue what’s already shaping up to be a great drama.
