Star Wars: Episode IX star Oscar Isaac will reportedly be at Star Wars Celebration next month in Chicago. J.J. Abrams wrapped production on the Skywalker saga's final installment in February, but there's still very little fans know about the film. Lucasfilm has even yet to unveil the official title, leading some to believe they're pulling a page out of the Avengers: Endgame playbook and won't reveal it until the first trailer premieres.

It's widely expected, though not confirmed, that highly-anticipated preview will debut in April, presumably during Celebration 2019. After all, new trailers for The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi were both screened at the convention during their respective years of release, so it would be odd for Lucasfilm to mix things up now at the trilogy's end. As fans wait for an actual announcement regarding an Episode IX panel, it looks like one of the movie's principal players will be there.

According to Fox 32 News and Good Day Chicago anchor Jake Hamilton, Isaac said he'll be at Celebration. Check out Hamilton's tweet on the matter in the space below:

There's no shortage of Star Wars personalities attending Celebration, many of whom will be at autograph booths for meet-and-greets. Conceivably, Isaac could be manning one of those, but he's more than likely going to promote Episode IX at the convention. For the Last Jedi panel, director Rian Johnson was accompanied by actors like Mark Hamill and Kelly Marie Tran (among others), so Abrams will probably have some company with him as well. Since this is the conclusion of the trilogy, it wouldn't be surprising if the sequels' big three (Isaac, Daisy Ridley, and John Boyega) were all there to reflect on their experience and commemorate their final ride through the galaxy far, far away. Maybe even Adam Driver, whose Kylo Ren is just as important to the story as the main heroes, will be in attendance too.

With about six weeks to go until Celebration 2019 kicks off (as of this writing), it's only a matter of time before Lucasfilm makes further announcements about what panels to expect at the event. Considering that Episode IX is positioned as one of the year's biggest cinematic events, Abrams' latest will most assuredly be a centerpiece of the convention, kicking off the marketing campaign in rousing fashion. And for the fans lucky enough to be in attendance, this will be an opportunity for them to show appreciation for the cast and crew that brought Star Wars back and kicked off an exciting new era for the franchise.
