BBC One's Orphan Black will go down as one of the best sci-fi series of the 2010s. A major reason for that is Tatiana Maslany, the talented actor who won an Emmy for her turn as multiple clones throughout the story. In fact, most of the best characters on the show were played by Maslany.

Of course, there were other great characters on the series who are adored by fans everywhere. They were a welcome part of the fantastic sequel audiobook series on Realm. Regardless of how popular they are, one character has to stand out as the most likable of them all.

Kira Manning

Kira Manning in Orphan Black

Although she may be last on the list, Kira Manning was certainly a likable character. It's just that as the kid of the series, she didn't get as much time on the screen as some others. In the early stages, she kind of comes across as nothing more than a plot device and someone for Sarah to worry about.

However, she eventually grows into a stronger young lady. Kira was beloved for the way that she quickly knew that Alison wasn't Sarah. She accepted her aunts and embraced the Clone Club, while also being willing to help them whenever needed. A college-age Kira plays a major part in the audiobook as well.

Siobhan Sadler

Siobhan from Orphan Black

It's telling how likable these characters were that Siobhan Sadler ranks near the bottom. She is something of an antagonist towards Sarah at the start but it's out of love as she wants her to prove that she can be there for Kira. Once Sarah does, Siobhan is accepting.

Siobhan spends the rest of the series acting as a confidant and partner for Sarah, Felix, and the rest of Clone Club. She doesn't get as many memorable moments or funny lines as the other characters, so she ranks below them but she was a crucial part of the show.

Delphine Cormier

Delphine Cormier in Orphan Black

Delphine Cormier is one of the most difficult characters to pinpoint for a lot of the show. She first shows up and makes an instant connection with Cosima that goes on to become one of the most popular relationships in the series. However, she was monitoring Cosima against her will.

That made her somewhat unlikable but over time, Delphine proved to be a loyal partner for Cosima. Their romance became one of the most iconic LGBTQ+ relationships in all of TV and her brilliance assisted the Clone Club at almost every turn by the time the series wrapped.

Art Bell

During the show's stellar first episode, Art Bell proves to be a major thorn in Sarah's side. He's aggressive with her because he believes she's his partner Beth and he's out to help her in his own way. Of course, he ultimately shows that he's a good person who truly loved Beth.

When he discovers the truth about Sarah and everything going on, he becomes an important part of the Clone Club. His detective work was always solid, he risked his life for the group, and fans loved that he was a doting father towards his daughter.

Donnie Hendrix

There's a recurring theme on this show where characters start out as being somewhat unlikable only to develop into someone the audience adores. That's the case again with Donnie Hendrix, who is first seen as the suspected monitor of his wife Alison, which was then proven to be the truth.

However, fans felt sympathy for Donnie when they realized that he didn't know what he was a monitor for. It also helped that he loved Alison and remained by her side as a loyal husband and father. He was a good source of comedy and one of the most fun characters.

Alison Hendrix

It's hard to rank the clones because the main four all had their moments of being incredible characters who the fans loved. Alison Hendrix is close to her sisters but she does rank a bit below them as she had moments where her uptight nature would get the best of her.

Ultimately though, Alison proved herself to be a tough cookie who grew into someone that didn't take crap from anyone. Her evolution was great, as even though she was sometimes pulled into fights she couldn't handle, she never backed down. Plus, almost any scene with her and Donnie was classic.

Felix Dawkins

The longest-tenured member of Clone Club to not actually be a Project Leda Clone is Felix Dawkins. As Sarah's foster brother, Felix was her ultimate confidant and someone who she could rely on. Sarah trusted Felix more than anyone and it was for a good reason.

Felix ended up actually bonding with the rest of the clones almost as much as he did with Sarah. He is the person who helped Alison break out of her shell, he accepted Helena even if it was reluctantly at first, and he became close with Cosima. Felix was fiercely loyal and always entertaining.

Helena

Helena with her arms extended in Orphan Black

This is the ultimate case of a character starting as a villain but redeeming themselves into becoming someone who every loved. Helena first appeared as the person who was killing clones but was revealed to be one herself as she was being brainwashed into murdering those she believed were her copies.

She spends most of season 1 as an antagonist but after surviving getting shot, she returns in season 2 and becomes a true "sestra" to Sarah. Their relationship was wonderful to see and she also was excellent with children as she was always sweet towards Kira. It helped make her a weird member of the family.

Sarah Manning

On paper, Sarah Manning might not seem like a likable character. She can be rude, stubborn, and a bit too strong-headed at times. However, there are understandable reasons for that which stem from her past. Sarah eventually changed to become accepting of her family and friends.

Despite not having any kind of training, she stepped up to fight for those she cared about and what she believed in. Her love as a mother is admirable, while her tough nature makes her someone the audience wants to root for. Sarah may not care about many people but she's a great ally for those in her cirlce.

Cosima Niehaus

In the second episode of Orphan Black, Sarah found herself face to face with Alison, another clone. Nobody expected the installment to end with them meeting again, only for a third clone to step into the picture. That was Cosima, who was immediately a popular character.

Like the rest of Clone Club, part of what made Cosima so likable was that she was loyal to her found family. That being said, she moves a level up for her relationship with Delphine, the sympathy she garnered during her sickness, and how her genius-level intellect saved them more than once.
