As fans delve into season 2 of Hulu's Only Murders In The Building, it's hard to wait each week to find out more about the mystery of who killed Bunny Folger. Fellow Arconia residents and podcasters Charles-Haden Savage, Oliver Putnam and Mabel Mora are still attempting to crack the case, and as they find clues and red herrings, they interact with various new characters.

Whether these characters know something significant about what happened to Bunny or become part of the trio's life at the Arconia, they have made an impression on viewers and are one reason why Only Murders In The Building is such a strong, well-crafted series.

Ivan

Ivan at the diner in Only Murders In The Building

Ivan is one of the best Only Murders In The Building characters, although he appears briefly in the season 2 episode "The Last Day of Bunny Folger." Ivan works at the diner that Bunny visited frequently, and every time that Bunny would eat there, she would leave some extra cash for Ivan. While Ivan felt that he shouldn't take the money, Bunny insisted.

Ivan is a significant character as he's kind and caring, but he's also there to prove that Bunny was a more compassionate person than she appeared to be at first. Bunny told Ivan that she didn't have anything to spend the money on and she wanted him to have it, something that he thought was very kind. Viewers didn't know much about Bunny besides her tough exterior and love of running the Aronica. This brief scene fleshes out Bunny and sheds light on who she was.

Nina Lin

Nina Lin in Only Murders in the Building Season 2

Before Bunny passes away, Nina Lin is going to take over Bunny's position on the Arconia board, and after Bunny is murdered, Nina still feels committed to this role but is devastated about this loss and terrified of what's going on in the building.

Nina is pregnant with her first child and a smart, determined, strong-willed character who likes to have a vision and then make her dreams happen. Fans learn in "The Last Day of Bunny Folger" that Bunny didn't want to leave her position after all, but Nina seemed like she would stop at nothing before agreeing to that, making viewers wonder if Nina was involved.

Alice Banks

Mabel and Alice talking seriously in Only Murders In The Building

Mabel's love interest Alice Banks invites Mabel to a party at her art gallery and who wants her to explore her love of art. As Alice asks Mabel to throw a party at her Arconia apartment, viewers see that the two characters have a genuine, deep connection. Alice is one of the show's most compelling new characters, and it's great to see Mabel being taken seriously as an artist, as she has always shown a real talent. One of Mabel's most impressive moments is when she paints a mural on the wall of her aunt's apartment.

Four episodes into season 2 of Only Murders In The Building, Alice is still mysterious, and while fans want Mabel to fall in love and have a happy and supportive relationship, it seems that Alice is hiding a lot that she will eventually have to share.

Lucy

Oliver, Charles, Mabel and Lucy in Only Murders In The Building

Only Murders In The Building set up season 2 by sharing in season 1 that Charles was close with Lucy, his stepdaughter who he hasn't seen in a long time since he and Lucy's mom stopped dating. In season 2, Lucy shows up at the Arconia, wanting to spend time with Charles, become close again, and make up for lost time.

It's incredibly moving seeing Lucy and Charles together, and this is also a realistic storyline, as the characters are unsure how to talk to each other after not seeing each other for so long. Charles learns some big secrets that he didn't know about, mainly that Lucy has a problem with her mom's new marriage. It's clear that Charles cares deeply about Lucy and wants to be a bigger part of her life again, making Lucy an important and special new season 2 character.

Amy Schumer

Amy Schumer Only Murders In The Building Season 2

There are many Only Murders In The Building suspects, including Amy Schumer, who plays herself in season 2 of the mysterious series. Amy tries to bond with Oliver, getting him to like her immediately, and she shares her plans to adapt his podcast into a TV show. Oliver is, of course, excited and happy about this prospect, although it seems like this is probably too good to be true. Oliver is often very innocent when dealing with people who he doesn't know very well, so viewers understand that he assumes that this deal will go ahead without a hitch.

Amy is tough, conceited, and someone who is clearly used to getting what she wants. When Oliver shares an opinion or questions her, Amy is confused and upset, wanting to be the one in control at all times. While Oliver is a friendly, social person who loves everyone, Amy doesn't seem very kind or sympathetic.

Leonora Folger

The Apartment's Shirley MacLaine in Only Murders in the Building

Viewers are introduced to Bunny's mother Leonora in the season 2 episode "Framed." Leonora's father, Archibald Carter, built the Arconia, and Leonora raised Bunny there. Leonora is tough, independent, and a fan of cocktails.

This character is tied to the main mystery at hand as she owned the strange painting that disappears from the building and shows up in the worst possible spot. It doesn't seem like Bunny and Leonora were very close, and Leonora seems like a hard person to get to know, as she's formal and likes getting what she wants.
