New info says that the anticipated OnePlus tablet will arrive in 2023. The tablet wave is spreading following the market's revival during the pandemic and Google's renewed interest in improving Android for large-screen devices. Brands such as Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo and Vivo have all announced new tablets this year.

Google has also confirmed it will announce a new tablet in 2023 with a charging dock that allows it to double as a smart display. The Google Tablet will be powered by its Tensor G2 chipset and will have support for a USI stylus. Google is expected to ship it with Android 13.

News of a OnePlus tablet first surfaced in late 2021, with another report revealing that it would launch in the first half of 2022. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. It's unknown whether OnePlus changed its plans or never had plans to launch a tablet this year. Now, an insider has revealed new details about when the tablet is expected to arrive. According to Max Jambor (@MaxJmb), known for OnePlus-related leaks, there is a OnePlus tablet in development, and it is reported to be scheduled for launch in 2023.

What Will A OnePlus Tablet Offer?

OnePlus Trademarks Tablet Branding

If the OnePlus tablet, which is reported to be called the OnePlus Pad, will launch in 2023, what features will it have? For now, there are no known specifications of the OnePlus Pad. However, there are some speculations and expectations. For example, some have reported that the OnePlus Pad may be a rebranded version of Oppo's tablets. Oppo, OnePlus's parent company, launched the Oppo Pad and the Oppo Pad Air in 2021. However, both tablets received limited availability. The former can be described as a premium tablet with a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 870 processor, fast wired charging, and stylus support.

The Oppo Pad Air is much more affordable. It lacks a high refresh rate display, has a Snapdragon 680 chipset, and charges much slower but retains stylus support. OnePlus isn't new to rebranding Oppo products, so it won't be a surprise if that happens. It is also possible that the OnePlus Pad will be an entirely new device. If that is the case, some features it can be expected to bring are a high refresh rate display, a new version of OxygenOS designed for large-screen devices and support for fast charging.
