The main story centers around the underestimated hero Saitama, who has reached the pinnacle of superhuman ability although many don't realize his true strength. However, it's the cast that surrounds Saitama that is responsible for some awesome anime fights. With viewers pining for Season 3, let's go over ten fights we can hope for next season!

Garou vs. Sweet Mask

If you've ever watched One Punch Man, you may be thinking that the Hero-Killer Garou would be too much for Sweet Mask. However, what he lacks in strength he makes up for in conviction and technique.

Sweet Mask has already stated that he remains at the number one spot in A-Class to prevent any heroes he sees as "unworthy" progressing forward. He also has a strong hatred for anything evil, and will despise Garou's ideology. A match between these two has the potential to be epic!

Speed O' Sound Sonic vs Genos

Both these characters have come into some upgrades. Perhaps the biggest strength and weakness of Speed-o'- Sound Sonic is his persistence. Constantly challenging beings much stronger than himself gets Sonic into trouble quite often. First when challenging Saitama and then when challenging Deep Sea King.

He has declared Saitama to be his rival which puts him right on course with Saitama's right-hand man, the Demon Cyborg himself...Genos. For Sonic to complete his journey of defeating Saitama he'll likely have to collide with Genos, whose been doing some upgrading of his own. It'll be speed versus machinery, a nonstop brawl that is sure to have viewers on the edge of their seats.

Metal Knight vs Genos

Genos in One-Punch Man

Speaking of machinery, imagine the two best heroes made of metal going at it in a clash for the ages! Some might be thinking that a clash between these two heroes is unrealistic. Metal Knight's selfishness and ego could get him in trouble with Genos who feels a distinct responsibility to serve the people.

Metal Knight, on the other hand, serves only himself and his self-interests. His lack of compassion could potentially erupt into a full-fledged betrayal of the Hero Association and could land him on Genos hit-list. While it's not necessarily the most realistic fight, it could potentially be the most entertaining.

Flashy Flash vs Black Sperm

Nicknamed "The End" Flashy Flash is confident in his abilities but knows he has much to improve on, quite similar to an early Saitama. Flashy Flash's strengths are speed and analytics, shown off in his fight against Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame. Flashy Flash could potentially meet his match should he encounter Black Sperm.

Black Sperm is an executive member of the Monster Association and is quite well known for his oddly shaped body. Fans of the manga series will recognize the name but for those of you unaware who this monster is, Black Sperm is for all intents and purposes...deadly. This monster is so sure of his ability he was even ready to take on Monster King Orochi and was able to easily overwhelm Atomic Samurai. With Black Sperm currently located in City Z, there's a chance to see a real good versus evil battle in Season 3.

Metal Bat vs Overgrown Rover

Metal Bat, a fan-favorite is known for taking on monsters that are gargantuan beasts. His fighting-spirit allows him to fight with the utmost resilience and take on monsters that seem to be far more powerful than him. He was in the middle of his fight with Elder Centipede when Garou forced Metal Bat to fight him instead. Although Garou heavily damaged him throughout the fight, Metal Bat didn't quit and started dealing even heavier blows, showcasing his ability.

Another chance to test his strength against a Dragon-level monster would be against the Monster Association's guard dog, Overgrown Rover. Overgrown Rover guards the entrance to the Monster Association's headquarters and if Saitama isn't there, Metal Bat might be one of the only heroes who could put this dog down.

Tatsumaki vs Psykos

Tatsumaki stands strong using her psychic abilities in One Punch Man

Tatsumaki, the number two hero in S-Class and self-proclaimed teacher of Fubuki versus Psykos, the military adviser for the Monster Association. Out of all the potential fights, this is perhaps the most likely one you'll see in Season 3. A fight similar to this one has already happened in the web-comic, meaning we'll likely see it should Tatsumaki make her way into the Monster Association's headquarters.

This fight will be a personal one as well considering Psykos is a former friend of Fubuki, Tatsumaki's younger sister. There's a chance that Tatsumaki lets her emotions get in the way of her immense abilities, allowing the tactician Psykos just enough time to strike. If these two face-off, it could be the most exciting psychic battle in anime history.

Superalloy Darkshine vs Garou

As the Hero Association's S-Class Rank 11 hero, Darkshine has proved his worth and could bring the fight to Garou. His large imposing frame, paired with his expressionless face when he battles versus Garou's intense speed and newfound agility would be quite the fight to see. Considered to be the most physically strong member of S-Class, Darkshine's punch could even defeat a monster as strong as Deep Sea King.

Based on resume alone Garou would search out Superalloy Darkshine in an effort to snuff out this hero. This is another reason why Garou might meet his match in Darkshine, who doesn't shy away from a challenge and will protect the civilians around him at all costs. In a classic brains versus brawn scenario, these two are likely to face-off in Season 3.

Watchdog Man vs Overgrown Rover

Watchdog Man sits atop his stand in One Punch Man

There's a chance that the Monster Association decides to bring the battle right to the heroes and if that happens we could Watchdog Man take on Overgrown Rover. Watchdog Man easily dispatched Garou, but you could attribute that to Garou not being familiar with Watchdog Man's particular fighting style. However, Overgrown Rover would be familiar with that style and perhaps overwhelm Watchdog Man, considering he doesn't fight high-level monsters very often.

That's not to say that Watchdog Man isn't fully capable of handling himself, he's taken on multiple monsters at the same time with no problem and would likely find a solution to beat Overgrown Rover. With both dogs chomping at the bit, this has "classic" written all over it.

Pig God vs Gums

Viewers haven't seen a lot of action from Pig God but when you do, it's not hard to understand why he's S-Class's tenth-ranked hero. A constant glutton, Pig God's ability to eat whatever is in his path is legendary. Having the ability to devour even Demon-level monsters such as The Great Food Tub isn't a pretty super-power but it gets the job done. There is however one monster that could pose a threat to Pig God, the Dragon-level monster, Gums!

Gums is perhaps the vilest monster in the Monster Association, his desire to consume knows no end and could potentially spell the end for Pig God. They had an encounter in the web-comic that is still ongoing, with neither giving an inch to the other. The possibility to see that play out in the animated series should make everyone...hungry.

 Saitama vs Monster King Orochi

You might think this has "one punch" written all over it, however, there is one thing that Monster King Orochi brings to this battle and that's absorption. Orochi can absorb other beings into his own body to increase his strength and since his body can regenerate as long as a speck remains he can continue fighting.

Orochi is the only monster that has been able to dodge any of Saitama's punches and at one point was able to grab the super-hero. His conviction pushes him forward to exact his revenge on Saitama and defeat the hero. Although Saitama hasn't run into any competition yet in the anime series, he's likely to face off against Orochi in Season 3.
