Warning: SPOILERS for chapter #179 of One-Punch Man.The latest chapter of One-Punch Man shows the continuation of the devastating clash between Saitama and Tatsumaki, with everyone's favorite bald hero unwillingly caught in the middle of what is shaping to be a hilarious love triangle with the two Psychic Sisters.

In chapter #179 of One-Punch Man, Saitama and Tatsumaki bring their battle outside the Hero Association building complex. Despite being tossed around by Tatsumaki's telekinesis, Saitama is still holding on to her arm. Tatsumaki asks Saitama is he is not letting go because he is "also into her", referencing the fact that she believes the bald hero has a romantic interest for her sister, despite Saitama's harsh denial that destroyed Fubuki in the previous chapter. In Tatsumaki's eyes, Saitama is trying to hit on both sisters, which makes the entire situation even more hilarious.

Tatsumaki Still Believes That Saitama Is Attracted By Fubuki

Tatsumaki tells Saitama that he is attracted by both sisters

Clearly, Saitama has no romantic interest toward Tatsumaki nor Fubuki, he was simply dragged into this uncomfortable situation, as it always happens to him. However, when Saitama mentions that he was holding onto Tatsumaki to prevent her from running away, the Tornado of Terror gets furious at what she perceives as a slight, and unleashes more of her psychic powers against Saitama. This has obviously no effect on the overpowered hero, but ends up putting in danger a family that is passing nearby, en route to the Hero Association's new housing complex.

This chapter of One-Punch Man was a pretty faithful adaptation of the corresponding events in the webcomic, and it continues showing the strange but entertaining battle between Saitama and Tatsumaki, with the interesting added detail that the latter believes the bald hero to be attracted from Fubuki. Hence, Tatsumaki is actually trying to test if Saitama is strong enough to protect her sister, rather than just fighting to satisfy her pride. Another new interesting development is that the two members of Tsukuyomi that Tatsumaki imprisoned in the previous chapter are able to escape, and the name of one of the two is revealed to be Apollo.

Tatsumaki Is Actually Testing Saitama's Strength

One-Punch Man is really proving to be much more than an action series, by developing an interesting dynamic between Saitama and the Psychic Sisters. Tatsumaki and Fubuki are fan-favorite characters, and it's great to see them more involved in the story of One-Punch Man. Of course, the main appeal of the situation remains Saitama's complete obliviousness of the love triangle that is developing around him, which makes his interactions with Tatsumaki and Fubuki always hilarious.
