The people behind Netflix's social media accounts have long been known for their witty tweets, but followers of the streaming giant's Twitter account couldn't help but notice those tweets went from witty to shady recently. Now that ABC has cancelled its Roseanne reboot thanks to series star Roseanne Barr's racist comments, Netflix would like you all to know they have suggestions of what you should watch instead.

The Netflix original comedy One Day At A Time, which is a present day reimagining of the 1970's Norman Lear classic sitcom, was recently renewed for its third season. The show follows three generations of a Cuban American family. It features a single mom, played by Justina Machado who is struggling to raise her two children with the help of her mom, played by Rita Moreno. Todd Grinnell plays Machado's building manager who is also a sounding board for the single mother.

Netflix subtly shaded Roseanne's cancellation in a tweet suggesting fans of the now defunct show check out One Day At A Time instead.

Fans of the show couldn't agree more, with many chiming in on social media to give the show even more props. Fans praised the show for tackling topical issues including divorce, sexuality, depression, anxiety and single parenting with humor and love. Fans also appreciate it as a show that the entire family can watch together, and that doesn't feature any actors who have tweeted racial comments.

While Roseanne showed a huge ratings win when its reboot first aired, the show was slowly dwindling in popularity as Barr's pro-Trump stance became more a focus. After her recent comments regarding Valerie Jarrett social media quickly called for a boycott of the show, eventually leading to ABC pulling the plug on the reboot entirely. While there are rumors that a 'Connor Family' show may be in the works, Netflix is simply reminding viewers that Roseanne wasn't the only show on television that features a middle class family simply trying to get by.

Fans of One Day At A Time love the show so much they even launched a social media campaign to see the series renewed for a third season, which it was. The first two seasons of the show are currently streaming on Netflix, and the third season is set to debut in 2019.
