Netflix's On My Block is renewed for season 4, which will be its last. Created by the trio of Lauren Iungerich, Eddie Gonzalez, and Jeremy Haft, On My Block premiered on the streaming service in March 2018, initially following the highs and lows of a group of high school friends as they go through life in the inner city of South Central Los Angeles. Each of the four main characters – Monsé Finnie (Sierra Capri), Cesar Diaz (Diego Tinoco), Ruby Martinez (Jason Genao), and Jamal Turner (Brett Gray) – deal with their situations differently, which leads to clashes as the teen drama progresses.

The renewal news was confirmed in a post from the official Twitter account for On My Block, which celebrated the characters coming back for a final adventure. The post was accompanied by a highlight video, which runs through some of the most memorable moments in the series. You can check it below.

Shocking twists and unexpected revelations have kept audiences focused on the series. On My Block season 3 was no exception, ending with a number of unanswered questions. Fans were left to ask whether the protagonists were drifting apart for good. Other storylines, like the mystery of Lil’ Ricky, were kept in a different kind of limbo as the season concluded without clarifying if the elusive figure was alive or dead. The show also teased a time jump, moving forward two years into the future, and it led to speculation about what the future of On My Block would look like. With the knowledge the dramedy has received one last renewal, viewers will hopefully get some closure on the most important storylines.
