Omarosa and Caitlyn Jenner are reportedly set to "go head-to-head" on the new season of Australia's Big Brother VIP. Considering both of their close ties to Donald Trump and opposing political views, it's said that Caitlyn and Omarosa will be going at it over issues related to the LGBTQ+ community. News of their tense showdown comes after Caitlyn denied claims of her political campaign being shut down so that she could appear on the show. The former Olympian still has every intention of recalling California Governor Gavin Newsom.

Caitlyn has been under fire amid her gubernatorial campaign announced earlier this year. Her conservative views have rubbed many the wrong way, including members of her family and within the transgender community. Caitlyn has faced criticism of being a hypocrite after expressing her opposition against trans women playing in female sports. Caitlyn received backlash following an appearance on Sean Hannity where she shared her gripes against homelessness in Los Angeles. However, despite how fierce the scrutiny gets, Caitlyn hasn't withdrawn her bid for office.

Caitlyn is taking a brief pause from her political fight to appear in a new season of Australia's celebrity version of Big Brother. Production for the show is set to kick off at Sydney Olympic Park in the coming weeks. "Omarosa and Caitlyn are expected to go head-to-head, especially about LGBTQ+ issues," a source told People. While the full cast hasn't been announced, Caitlyn and Omarosa a re reportedly two of the "highest-paid on the upcoming season," the source adds. Omarosa is making around $AUD 450,000 while Caitlyn earned slightly more with $AUD 500,000.

Caitlyn Jenner in Keeping Up With The Kardashians

Both stars are reality TV vets with Omarosa having competed on Donald Trump's Apprentice in 2004 before coming back for Celebrity Apprentice in 2008 and All-Star Celebrity Apprentice in 2013.  She even worked with Trump on her own show in 2010 called The Ultimate Merger before teaming back up with Trump during his administration in the White House. Caitlyn is a Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum who starred in her short-lived spin-off I Am Cait. She had made appearances on shows like The Masked Singer and I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here before announcing her campaign to recall Gov. Newsom earlier this year.

With both Caitlyn and Omarosa having strong backgrounds in reality television and politics, it's sure to be a mega-showdown brewing. Omarosa didn't leave the Trump Administration on the best terms and went on to write a tell-all book about her time working with the controversial president. Caitlyn has remained a loyal Trump supporter despite all the criticism she receives for her political views. For those looking for a show mixed with some political shade-throwing, it looks like Big Brother VIP might be your fix.
