Olaf parodies all of Disney's most famous movies in the official trailer for Disney+'s Olaf Presents. Olaf first hit the big screen in 2013 with the release of Frozen and has been a staple of Disney ever since. Created by Elsa's powers, the friendly snowman who loves warm hugs sets out with Anna to save Arendelle. The loyal snowman returns in Frozen 2 and lightens the mood as the girls embark on a journey of self-discovery. Masterfully voiced by Josh Gad, Olaf is the comic relief of the Frozen franchise, and he perfectly encompasses the silliness, adorableness, and festiveness required for any strong Disney character.

Fans are still holding out for a Frozen 3 to wrap up the franchise, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet. However, viewers do not necessarily need a third film to get their fill of Olaf. Due to his high popularity, Olaf has been the star of multiple short films produced by Walt Disney. He has appeared in Olaf's Frozen Adventure, Frozen Fever, and Once Upon a Snowman. He even made a guest appearance in Disney's animated children's show Sofia the First. The love for Olaf has kept him coming back again and again, and this time, he's getting his own mini-series.

Olaf Presents is not the first time that Olaf has tried his hand at retelling stories. In Frozen 2, Olaf provides a 90-second recap of the entire first film, giving some Oscar-worthy imitations of Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Hans in the process. Olaf expertly hits all of the major plot points of the film, doesn't hold back on the embarrassing details, and gives an entertaining performance. If he retells Disney's classics in the same manner, the shorts are bound to be a hit for Disney+. After all, the series holds quite an appealing premise - all of Disney's favorite stories retold by Disney's favorite snowman. Viewers get to relive Disney's most beloved classics and get side-splitting imitations and reactions from one of Disney's most beloved characters.

Overall, Olaf Presents is an excellent way for Disney to provide a bridge between their classic era and their modern era. So many of Disney's stories and characters are truly timeless and hold quite a bit of potential to be reused in some form for the franchise. One way that Disney has expanded on their classics is by providing live-action remakes, such as the upcoming live-action Little Mermaid. However, Olaf Presents offers to do something a little more unique in that it is not merely retelling the story, but doing so in a way that will allow them to be viewed in an entirely new light. Now, fans get to see what these stories look like in the eyes of a snowman. As Olaf interprets these stories, recreates characters, and picks out the plot point most important to him, viewers get to see what Disney's modern era thinks of its classic era. Olaf Presents is bound to be hilarious and entertaining but also a nostalgic and creative nod to Disney's past.
