Throughout The Office's nine seasons, fans saw the ins and outs of the daily lives of those working at Dunder Mifflin Scranton. But as close as the viewers became with the characters, a huge chunk of their lives weren't shown. With The Office being a workplace comedy, most of the scenes occurred in an office setting. But the entire plot could have changed if the documentary camera crew followed the workers home at night.

Because of this, there are plenty of things that happened outside of the office that fans wished they saw. After nine long seasons, the characters became a warm familiarity for fans. Fans have been getting their fill of the series by streaming it on Peacock, but they're also talking about everything they missed on Reddit.

Michael And Holly's Wedding

Michael proposing to Holly in The Office

Michael had been waiting for a person like Holly his entire life. He always dreamed of having a wife and a ton of kids. He made his coworkers his family members to fill the void until he met Holly. So when Holly had to leave Scranton to help her parents in Colorado, Michael took the plunge and proposed to her. After 15+ years of work, he was leaving to start a new life. But considering how prevalent Michael was to the series, fans were upset that they never got to see his wedding to Holly.

Not only did fans wish they got to see Michael and Holly's wedding but they wished they saw more of their life in Colorado. In the series finale, Michael told Pam that he had four kids and needed two phones due to the number of photos he took of them.

Michael was so happy and at peace that it made viewers curious about his dream life over in Colorado. Seeing their home, his marriage to Holly, and how he was with his kids would have been wonderful.

Life On The Farm With Mose & Dwight

Dwight and Mose on a seesaw

Life on Schrute Farm was so precarious that fans wanted more. After a few glimmering moments on Dwight's family farm, it was too eyebrow-raising to ignore. Not only was Dwight's relationship with his cousin Mose hilarious and awkward but the way Dwight ran his farm said a lot too. Fans wouldn't have minded more time at the farm to see what exactly Dwight (and later Angela) did on their downtime.

The Scranton Stangler Trial

Toby Flenderson sits at his desk in The Office

It's obvious that the show didn't cover the Scranton Strangler trial because it didn't pertain to Dunder Mifflin. The only connection besides the trial taking place in Scranton was that Toby was supposedly a part of the jury. However, due to the speculation that Toby was actually the Scranton Strangler, fans wished they saw more of the trial.

A Complete List Of Michael's Day

Bob, Phyllis, Michael, and Stanley all wait for pretzels on The Office

On Pretzel Day, Michael was too excited about eating a warm pretzel that he couldn't focus on work. In fact, he didn't do any work at all, even though there was a lot to get done. To make matters worse, Jan asked Pam to write down everything Michael did that day to keep tabs on him. Pam tried encouraging Michael without telling him about her secret mission but it didn't end well. From 10 am to 1 pm, Michael only did two things and they weren't even work-related. Viewers would love to see the real list of Michael's day that day.

A Rematch Between Michael & Dwight

Michael and Dwight fight at the dojo on The Office

In "The Fight," Jim found out that Dwight was a regular at a local dojo. In a classic Jim move, he did everything he could to get Michael and Dwight in that dojo together. His plan eventually worked when the pair fought to see who was toughest.

By the end of the fight, Michael came out victorious but a rematch was promised. After training with his Sensi, Dwight could beat Michael easily.

Tube City

Michael creating Tube City on The Office

In season 6's "Murder," Michael tries to distract the office from the possibility of downsizing. He somehow gets everyone to participate in a murder mystery game to keep everyone's minds at ease but Jim isn't excited by the idea of a game. Michael then quietly says "Tube City. You owe me..." Viewers are then shown a throwback of Michael building a massive hamster tube structure called Tube City. Jim had to deter Michael from building this so-called Tube City because it was not safe to have in the workplace. Due to the oddity of a massive hamster tube, fans would have loved to see the full thing in an episode.

The Completion Of The Wood Floor

the office characters find out theres wood floors under the carpet on the office

When the office gets a new espresso machine, the characters drink so much espresso where they are unable to work. They then decide to tear up the carpet and find out that there are hardwood floors underneath

The characters stopped before completing their mission, but fans would have loved to see them tear up the entire carpet by the time Pam and Darryl got back to the office. The cameras didn't even show how they patched up the carpet since they didn't keep the hardwood.

Creed's Life Outside Of The Office

Creed Baton on Halloween with blood on his shirt on The Office

Creed is a mysterious and complex character. No one is ever sure of what he is doing, which is why fans want to see more of him. In one Halloween episode, Creed showed up to work with blood splattered all over him. He claimed it was good timing that he showed up with blood all over him on Halloween. With a statement like that, fans want to see what Creed does outside of the office.

Karen & Jim's Move To Scranton

Karen looks at Jim while they wait for the interview on the office

It was clear from the start that when Jim started working at the Stamford branch, Karen was the new version of Pam. She worked behind him, had the same sense of humor as him, and flirted subtly. While Karen threw major hints that she liked him, he didn't reciprocate until he knew he was being transferred back to Scranton.

Unsurprisingly, the cameras jumped to Jim and Karen's first day at work where they were now dating. What fans wished they saw were the in-between moments. How did Karen and Jim begin to date? Did they make the move as a couple?
