A TikTok creator made quite the discovery while looking through Peacock's terms and conditions, as apparently the streamer has Kevin's famous chili recipe from The Office tucked among its clauses. Thanks to streaming, NBC's The Office remains one of the most popular sitcoms of all time even now, almost ten years after it went off the air. The mockumentary followed the lives and shenanigans of the employees of regional paper company Dunder Mifflin, turning the seemingly monotonous office life into something hilarious and, occasionally, heartfelt.

Among other things, The Office is known for its absurd and funny cold opens. From the ridiculously misguided parkour moves of Andy (Ed Helms), Dwight (Riann Wilson), and Michael (Steve Carell) to Dwight's out-of-control fire drill, The Office has plenty of opening scenes that fans can recall at the drop of a hat. One such cold open is the one where slow-witted Kevin (Brian Baumgartner) brings in his famous chili for the office. However, before he can get it to the kitchen, Kevin drops the pot and spills the chili all over the carpet, leading him to attempt cleaning it up in the most chaotic ways possible.

The absurd moment has led many to wonder exactly how one can make Kevin's chili, and it turns out they only needed to look at Peacock's terms and conditions. As noted by TikTok user Mckenzie Floyd, wedged in the middle of Peacock's lengthy terms list is Kevin's chili recipe. From the ingredients to the directions, everything anyone needs to make this chili is there. At the time of this writing, it can still be found on Peacock's official site.

Clearly, Peacock knows how to poke fun at its users and make light of how few people read through all that legal jargon. Peacock became the official streaming home for The Office at the very beginning of 2021, and though there was much outcry when it left Netflix, NBC's still-growing service has done all it can to be a worthy host for the beloved sitcom. Office fans have been treated to extra-long episodes, never-before-seen footage, and additional content over on Peacock. Now it looks like they've also scored the secret to Kevin's chili.

The Office's enduring popularity has led some to wonder if a reboot could be just around the corner. With so many shows getting second lives these days, it seems more like it's only a matter of time until Dunder Mifflin returns to the small screen. Creator Greg Daniels recently commented on how an Office reboot would have to be different than the original show, so if it ever does come back, it might not be exactly like how fans remember. Still, if The Office is still so popular that Peacock has put a major reference to it in its terms and conditions, perhaps a reboot is something worth considering.
