Jim and Pam may have been the front-running couple on The Office, but Angela and Dwight’s relationship was just as important. These two have been flirting, dating, and sleeping together for seasons before the rest of their co-workers caught on. But they weren’t just two people with great chemistry; there was a deep love between the two.

But what if Dwight and Angela broke up for good after he killed Sprinkles? What if this relationship was shortened and never restarted after the death of her beloved cat? If that were the case, it’s fun to guess which man Angela could have ended up with. From one-off characters to series regulars, let’s take a look at 10 men Angela could have ended up with if she and Dwight never got back together.

Roy

There are plenty of fan theories stating that Roy and Angela had an affair when he was with Pam. There were a few instances where Roy expressed interest in the uptight “Christian,” and it’s not like Roy isn’t Angela’s type. He’s tall like Dwight, and strong from working in the warehouse. If Roy and Angela did have an affair when he was with Pam, maybe these two could have rekindled after he and Pam ended their relationship completely. Talk about a plot twist.

Ravi

Pam and Jim set Kelly up with their pediatrician Ravi since both of them were looking for love. Surprisingly, Kelly really fell for Ravi, and chose him over Ryan (before the final episode, of course). But what if Pam and Jim set Angela up with Ravi instead?

Kelly and Angela are very different people, but maybe that’s a good thing. After all, Kelly seemed too immature and naive for Ravi. Having a woman like Angela by his side could have been a better fit for him. And let’s not pretend that dating a doctor wouldn’t excite Angela. She loves dating men who have something to offer society.

Mose

Let’s pretend for a second that Angela and Dwight broke up after the death of Sprinkles, and she moved in with his cousin Mose after he was her shoulder to cry on. Mose could have dropped off her belongings, and shown how sympathetic and sweet he was. Mose is Dwight’s cousin after all, so the two have a lot in common. He may seem like a punching bag for both Dwight and Angela, but maybe that’s what Angela likes most about Mose: that he’ll do anything she says.

Charles

Charles Miner didn’t just catch Angela’s eye, he caught Kelly and Erin’s too. He’s a looker who claimed to have known the effect he has on women. And while he didn’t show any romantic feelings towards Angela, she sure showed her interest in him.

Perhaps after a few weeks of working together, these two became a team of sorts. Charles was an authoritative figure, and Angela was a sucker for following the rules and ensuring things get done properly. With their mutual love for organization and rules, these two could have been a lovely couple.

David

The Office -David Wallace and his suck it hoodie

As fans know, David Wallace is a married man and father of a young son. He’s a very smart businessman, and seemed to have everything he could ever need. But what if David’s wife divorced him after Dunder Mifflin went under, and he fell into the arms of a single Angela? Angela seems to be attracted to tall and smart men; David Wallace is both. He’s well established, runs the company, and is soft-natured when he wants to be. Angela can be a little rough around the edges, but having a man like David in her life could have brought peace to her angry, uptight mind.

Senator Lipton

Robert smiling and Angela frowning at a press conference on The Office

Yes, the senator is an openly gay man who declared his love for a member of his campaign on live TV...but what if that never happened? What if the senator came out to Angela in private and the two remained married for the sake of their image? The senator would have the beautiful blonde on his arm, and Angela would get to be a senator’s wife and live a life of glitz and glam. The two wouldn’t have a romantic life but this would free them up to seeing people privately while still keeping up appearances — something Angela seems very capable of doing.

Danny

Remember when Michael Scott poached salesman Danny Cordray? Danny was one of the best salesmen in Scranton, and incredibly charismatic. He even went out on a date with Pam but turned her down because she was too “dorky.”  But do you know who isn’t dorky? Angela. If Danny is looking for someone to date at work, Angela could have been a great option. She’s serious, smart, and would encourage Danny’s work. Plus, we can all see her blissfully boasting the fact that she’s dating yet another top-performing salesman.

Billy

Billy Merchant at a charity race in The Office

Bill Merchant made one appearance in The Office, but his presence was long-lasting due to the episode “The Injury”. He was the owner of the building that Dunder Mifflin was in, and stopped by after Michael wanted to chat about living with a disability. With Billy being in a wheelchair, he didn’t let his disability stop him from living a full life. And since Billy was clearly a successful man, it’s easy to see why Angela would be attracted to him. She loves men who have some kind of power, and Billy definitely had that.

Mr. Brown

We meet Mr. Brown in “Diversity Day” after he’s sent to Dunder Mifflin Scranton to give a lecture of diversity in the workplace. Mr. Brown was a no-nonsense kind of guy who tried to remain composed after Michael’s crazy amount of interruptions, which sounds like something Angela is used to doing.

Mr. Brown and Angela could have been a dream team who focused on rule-abiding employees — which Angela craves as a member of the Party Planning Committee. We could also see Angela loving the fact that she was dating someone so corporate. She would totally use that as leverage if she needed it.

Andy

Were Andy and Angela perfect? No. Andy was naive, Angela cheated on him, and they didn’t really know each other before getting engaged. However, these two crazy kids could have worked out — as long as Andy’s anger was in check.

If Andy stayed at Dunder Mifflin and didn’t lose his mind and sail off to sea, he and Angela could have lived a comfortable life. He would have been manager, she would still be in accounting, and they would be a very vanilla couple in Scranton. Would they be happy? Eh, it’s hard to say; but they’d be comfortable.
