They say office romances can be tricky, but what about The Office romances?

Probably even trickier.

The cast of NBC's now-ubiquitous sitcom The Office certainly has an interesting cast of characters, and one of the most interesting parts of watching the show is wondering what it would be like to work in that office. Who would you take sides with when Michael decided to do something crazy? Who would you sit with during meetings? Who would you date? Would you have to hide your romance from Michael, or from corporate?

Well, we can't answer all of those questions, but since zodiac signs tend to be such a good predictor of romantic matchups, we can at least answer one: Here's who you'd date if you worked at Dunder Mifflin Scranton, depending on which zodiac sign you were born under.

Aries: Gabe

Gabe dating Erin was a bad move - she's not very good at standing up for herself, and Gabe gets so enthusiastic about weird things that he becomes a major steamroller.

As an Aries, you wouldn't have this problem with Gabe. Your fierce independence and tendency to take the lead would give you the "pants" in the relationship - and if you look at Gabe's entire life, he usually seems happier when somebody else is calling the shots for him. Plus, the weird things he likes would satisfy your sense of adventure, and he'd be delighted whenever you chose to indulge him.

Taurus: Kelly

Kelly is a character torn between her desire for two different things: A happy, healthy home life where she gets to be a wife and a mother, and unending drama.

As a steady, simple Taurus, you would be happy to give Kelly stability, and falling into the traditional roles she wants you to play would suit you perfectly. But she would still get her fair share of drama, because Kelly is a flirt, and you, as a Taurus, have a tendency to get jealous. Happy normalcy for you, a little drama for her - as long as you could strike a good balance, you both win.

Gemini: Ryan

If there's one thing Ryan Howard is bad at, it's commitment. Good thing that you, as a Gemini, aren't a big fan either; if the two of you could just commit to not being fully committed to each other, you'd make a great pair.

Geminis are curious and intellectual people, and Ryan, quirky as he may be, is still pretty smart, and loves throwing new ideas at the wall to see what sticks. You'll end up loving this variety, and Ryan will love how very supportive you can be of his ventures while still maintaining independence and keeping enough distance.

Cancer: Erin

Erin is one of the sweetest, kindest people in the office, even when she is being kind of ditzy. She needs someone who won't be too pushy with her, but who will still give her all of the softness and affection she deserves, especially after being deprived of it as a child.

Enter Cancer. Your nurturing, caring, protective nature will make you see to it that Erin has all the love she deserves, and a shoulder to cry on if she needs it. And given that Erin is who she is, you can expect the exact same thing in return - so when you inevitably start feeling a little bit needy or clingy, she won't mind one bit.

Leo: Darryl

Darryl tends to run whenever he realizes he's committed to something too hard - but it's clear that he likes a strong personality, and the kind of person who is confident enough to demand his undivided attention is something he responds to. Why else would he have dated Kelly for so long?

You, as a Leo, can definitely give him all that, plus some Grade-A flirting game - and you'll enjoy his as well. He will lavish you with praise and care, but also (like he did with Kelly) call you out when you start acting a little crazy or possessive. It'll be a fiery affair, but since you both love passion, that'll turn out to be a good thing.

Virgo: Dwight

There are a few things we know Dwight likes in a woman: Firm commitment, a respect for rules, a very strong hand, and a certain level of detachment. Remind you of anyone?

As a work-a-holic, it would never bother you when Dwight started obsessing over paper, or beets, or Dunder Mifflin in general. You'd be there every step of the way to encourage him, and you'd enjoy watching him grow into his new roles. You'd keep your romantic affection out of the office, and enjoy a relationship of equal give-and-take at home...in every part of your home.

Libra: Jim

Dwight Schrute from The Office

Jim Halpert is a huge flirt, and as a Libra, that suits you just fine. You would fall instantly for Jim's charm, wit, and zest for life, and he'd fall for yours in turn. They say that opposites sometimes attract - this would not be one of those times.

Jim would deeply appreciate the creativity you'd bring to his pranks, and you would love his innate romantic instincts. You love feeling like you're in a fairy tale, and that's exactly how Jim would make you feel. You'd also be able to reel him in when his pranks got a little out of hand, and you'd be unwaveringly supportive of each other at every turn.

Scorpio: Angela

Angela Martin in The Office

Angela appreciates rules, logic, and routine on the surface...but under the surface, she's looking for adventure, passion, and romance. She wants to be swept off her feet and loved, wholly and intensely, by someone who can instinctually understand her every want and need (because she's not very good at communicating them openly).

You, Scorpio, would take that desire as a fun challenge. You live to be intensely committed in your care for the person you love, and Angela would make it even better by indulging your intense passions whenever and wherever you wanted...as long as nobody would see.

Sagittarius: Pam

Pam seems kind of quiet and reserved at first glance, but deep down she's really a spunky, fun-loving person who is always up for an adventure, romance, and a good laugh. A Sagittarius like you could give her all of those things without lifting a finger, and she would give you a partner in crime in return.

You would also be the open and honest communication she always wanted in a relationship - something she was always missing with Roy. Plus, you would push her to try new things, something she's not great at initiating, but enjoys once it's happening.

Capricorn: Oscar

Oscar is a no-nonsense person most of the time. He likes to focus on his work, do his job well, and enjoy culture and the finer things in life in his spare time. As a Capricorn, the two of you would be peas in a pod - you'd probably kindle your romance in the Finer Things club and just branch off from there.

Plus, Oscar, a softie at heart, would remind you that getting ahead at work isn't everything, and you could encourage him to speak up when he has a good idea - he's smart, you'd tell him: If he cared about his job a little more, he could actually change the things he complains about.

Aquarius: Michael

Michael Scott will always be a child at heart, and he needs to be in a relationship with someone who not only understands that, but will join him in it once in a while. As an imaginative, idealistic Aquarius, you would enjoy doing this for him, and could still provide him with the life structure that he wants, but is unable to create for himself.

You are the perfect balance of planning and fun to match with Michael Scott. You can bring him back down to earth when he gets too wild, and he can remind you to have some fun when you get too serious about things. Most importantly, though, you would love each other deeply.

Pisces: Andy

Andy tries to project an air of confidence and self-assuredness, but deep down he's a huge softie. His love of art and music would appeal to you right away, and he would draw you in with his over-the-top romantic gestures. Pisces love their lives to feel like a daydream, and Andy Bernard definitely strives for that as a romantic partner.

As a Pisces, you make a great partner because you put your person's needs before your own every time - which, needy as Andy is, would certainly be necessary from time to time. Together, the two of you would strike an exemplary balance between support and romance.
