Part of what makes The Office so personal is the characters' talking heads. A talking head is a segment where the character offers insight or commentary to a situation. In The Office, most talking heads take place in the conference room or in Michael's office. If the gang is outside of the office, the camera crew pulls a character aside to get their thoughts on what's going on before they rejoin the group.

There are Office fans on Reddit who have tracked every talking head throughout the series' nine seasons and for every hilarious gem, there's one that's just as cringey.

Best: When Jim Asked Pam On A Date In The Middle Of Her Talking Head

Jim asks Pam out on The Office

Fans were thrown through a loop when Pam was finally single but Jim was dating Karen. All hope felt like it was lost when Jim and Karen were gearing up to move to New York City. But as soon as Jim interrupted Pam's talking head, the gates of heaven opened and all was right in the world. Jim and Pam were finally going to test the waters of their relationship. Before Pam's talking head was over, tears filled her eyes and she forgot what she was talking about.

Worst: Andy Singing The "Oompa Loompa" Theme Song

As soon as the Stamford and Scranton branches merged together, Andy was trying to become Scranton's top dog. He became a "yes man" to Michael and aimed to out-do Dwight.

Dwight can do some pretty outlandish things, but he didn't deserve to lose his job. When Andy learned that Dwight and Michael had issues in the past over lying, Andy pushed the premise that Dwight was, once again, trying to pull one over on Michael. Michael felt like he had no choice but to fire Dwight. This led to Andy creating his own version of the "Oompa Loompa" song, which was both annoying and cruel.

Best: Michael Stepped On A George Foreman Grill

Michael Scott had a ton of hilarious talking heads. His outlook on the world can be so flawed that it made every talking head pure gold.

In one episode, Michael called Pam frantically asking for help. He stepped on a George Foreman Grill and severely burned his foot. After Dwight rescued him, Michael explained what happened in his talking head. Learning that he leaves raw bacon on his grill every night before he goes to sleep is... well, it's very Michael.

Worst: Old Kevin

After nine seasons, characters are eventually going to change. But no one changed more than Kevin, who went from a rather boring, monotone man to a charismatic and silly gentle giant.

His talking heads in the first three seasons are hard to watch after seeing his true self come out in later seasons. In the early days, his interviews were so dry and bland that they seemed pointless. The Kevin fan know and love in the later seasons has talking heads worth watching.

Best: Angela & Sprinkles

Angela talks about her cats

The death of a pet isn't funny, but it's the way Angela acted after Sprinkles' death that made the situation comical. She was devastated that after leaving Sprinkles in the hands of Dwight Schrute, she died. The accountant proved to be in mourning by wearing black and going through old pictures. The best moment was in Angela's talking head when she showed a picture of her and Sprinkles on Halloween and said "This is Halloween last year. Just a couple of kittens out on the town."

Worst: Michael At Phyllis's Wedding

Michael has his bratty moments. He "has" to be liked and wants the world to think he's the best at everything he does.

When Phyllis asked Michael to push her wheelchair-ridden father down the aisle at her wedding, he happily obliged because it would look like he was walking the bride down the aisle. However, in the middle of the ceremony, Phyllis' dad found his footing and was able to walk his daughter down the aisle without Michael. But how did Michael react? During his talking head, he shamed Phyllis' dad and made it seem like the wedding was ruined. This was not one of his shining moments.

Best: Pam At Michael & Jan's Dinner Party

Michael and Jan's dinner party was the dinner party from hell. What was supposed to be a nice evening of dining and conversation led to a three-hour waiting period, a broken plasma TV, and a broken relationship. Pam and Jim were horrified when they learned that the dinner still needed three hours to braise in the oven.

Pam's talking heads were hilarious as it showed her hiding in different parts of the house. She was hungry, she was uncomfortable, and more importantly, Pam just found out that Michael told Jan that the two of them dated! Pam's whispering to the camera proved how uncomfortable she was.

Worst: Creed & His Love Of Scuba

Creed has a talking head about Scuba on The Office

Creed has to be the most underrated and misunderstood character on The Office. He works as a quality assurance representative but has no idea what his job entails. It never looks like he's working and when he talks about his job, it never involves paper. In one talking head, he brings up his potential job in scuba diving, but nothing is ever clarified. What about scuba diving? And what is he doing all day at work if he's trying to get a scuba diving certificate?

Best: Dwight's Wigs

Dwight freaked out at the possibility of Jim stealing his identity, but funny enough, he showed his true colors by admitting he did something similar. In a talking head during a Christmas episode, Dwight admitted to having a wig for "every single person in the office." The camera then shows Dwight doing various things in a Meredith, Kevin, and Stanley wig.

Worst: Karen, Karen, Karen

It's a shame that most Office fans hate Karen for standing in between Jim and Pam's love story. When the situation is looked at from Karen's eyes, she didn't know about Jim and Pam until after she moved to Scranton — she just really liked him.

After Stamford found out they were closing and would merge with Scranton, Karen seemed torn on what to do because she clearly liked Jim. In a talking head, Karen said "I don't think he's into me or anything. But... I'm kind of into him." The thought of these two getting together before moving to Scranton was enough to make Jim and Pam fans lose their minds.
