Ocean's Eleven is a fast-paced and exciting movie that tells the story of a criminal team who conduct a large-scale robbery. Danny Ocean and Rusty Ryan select individuals with specific expertise to join their group, in an attempt to do something that has never successfully been done before: a heist at a Las Vegas casino.

The characters in this film are very different from one another - they are picked for their unique skills and have different motivations for taking part in the robbery. Now fans can find out which larger-than-life character they are most like based on their zodiac sign.

Aries: Terry Benedict

Terry Benedict talks on a cell phone in Ocean's Eleven

In one of his best movies, Andy Garcia plays Terry Benedict: owner of the hotel and casino that is being targeted in the heist.

Aries are confident, diligent workers who hate to lose. Terry's work ethic is made clear when Linus observes him and explains to Rusty how hard Terry works and how much he has achieved. His self-assurance is demonstrated by the way he talks to others, especially when he talks to Danny. Additionally, Terry becomes extremely angry at the end of the movie when he realizes the heist was successful and he has lost millions of dollars.

Taurus: Livingston Dell

Livingston Dell looks at computer screen on Ocean's Eleven

Livingston Dell is an electronics genius who is doing freelance surveillance work for the FBI when he is recruited to the team.

Taurians tend to value stability and calm, and are known for having practical intelligence. Livingston's intelligence is clear from his ability with computers and electronics, which is demonstrated throughout the film. As this character has a very nervous disposition (especially when an FBI agent touches his computer), it is clear that he works best in calm and predictable situations.

Gemini: Rusty Ryan

Rusty on the phone in Ocean's Eleven

In one of his most successful movies, Brad Pitt plays Danny Ocean's right-hand man: Rusty Ryan. When Danny finds him after being released from jail, Rusty is teaching cards to movie stars.

Geminis are considered to be intelligent and funny. Rusty demonstrates his intelligence by conceptualizing and analyzing different aspects of the heist, picking up information, and coming up with solutions very quickly. His cheeky and humorous side is evident when he pokes fun of a club bartender at the beginning of the film and when he mischievously calls Terry to tell him about the robbery.

Cancer: Bruiser

Bruiser hits Danny in Ocean's Eleven

Bruiser is a muscular and tough-looking man who is hired to pretend to beat Danny Ocean up. Although he does not have much screen time, his vibrant personality still shines through.

Cancerians are generally sensitive and kind people who value their relationships with others. Bruiser's empathetic and gentle nature is shown when he feels bad after he hits Danny unnecessarily at the wrong time, forgetting he needed to wait until a little later. Additionally, Bruiser comes across as a family man when Danny tries to connect with him by asking how his wife is.

Leo: Frank Catton

Frank as a croupier in Ocean's Eleven

Frank is the first of the group that Danny finds after being released from jail. At the time, he is working as a croupier called 'Ramon' at a casino (because his real name is tied to criminal activity).

Leos are charismatic, confident, and persuasive. Frank's charm and likeability is noticeable throughout the movie. However, it is particularly evident when he negotiates with a car salesman and uses flattery, his charm and his charisma (and a threatening handshake) to get a good deal on a van.

Virgo: Linus Caldwell

Matt Damon as Linus in Ocean's 11

Son of Bobby Caldwell, Linus, is recruited by Danny Ocean when he is working as a small-time pickpocket.

Virgos want to be validated and liked by others; they want to be useful and have a quick fix for everything. Linus demonstrates this by consistently attempting to gain the respect of his criminal superiors throughout the movie. While Linus' sleight of hand comes in handy, his main role is doing a little bit of everything and fixing problems that come up, like when he steps up and agrees to trigger the vault when Danny is temporarily ousted.

Libra: Tess Ocean

In this movie, Julia Roberts plays the role of Danny Ocean's wife, Tess, who is dating Terry Benedict and suspects that Danny is involved in a new robbery.

Libras are often concerned with 'doing the right thing'. They are very sensitive and can struggle to make decisions. Tess shows her sensitive side when she explains how much Danny's lies have hurt her. As a result of this, Tess is convinced that the right thing is to be with Terry rather than Danny. However, she quickly changes her mind once Danny makes sure she sees what Terry's priorities really are.

Scorpio: Yen (The Amazing Yen)

Characters look out of van door in Ocean's Eleven

Yen is starring in a gymnastics show when he is recruited as 'the grease man'. His acrobatic skills make him irreplaceable in the heist.

Scorpios are often very difficult to know and give little away about themselves. They also tend to be fearless and unafraid of danger. Ocean's Eleven sees Yen putting himself in extremely dangerous situations, including being enclosed in a space with a limited amount of oxygen, with seemingly no concern for his own safety. He is also a man of few words and fans never know much about who this mysterious character really is.

Sagittarius: Basher Tarr

Basher in Ocean's Eleven

Munitions expert, Basher Tarr, plays a key role in enabling the success of the heist by using a 'pinch' to temporarily disable the power in Las Legas.

Sagittarians are highly honest, outspoken, and drawn to excitement. While most of the other characters are motivated by money, Basher seems to be motivated by the thrill of the risk. Basher is shown to be excited, or even giddy, by the 'bangs' of explosions during the movie. Basher also never shies away from saying exactly what he thinks (often in Cockney rhyming slang) and regularly criticizes his associates.

Capricorn: Saul Bloom

In one of Carl Reiner's best movies, he plays Saul Bloom. Saul is convinced to come out of retirement by Rusty Ryan and subsequently poses as arms dealer 'Lyman Zerga' at the targeted casino.

Capricorns are often thought to be responsible, logical, and hard-working. Although Saul is involved in robbing a casino, he definitely comes across as the responsible and rational one in the group. When Rusty Ryan initially goes to meet him, he is eating oranges because his doctor told him he needs more vitamins in his diet. When Danny Ocean runs through the heist plan, Saul thinks about and challenges it.

Aquarius: Reuben Tishkoff

Reuben sits by pool in Ocean's Eleven

Successful businessman and former Las Vegas hotel owner, Reuben Tishkoff, is convinced to join the heist due to his loathing for Terry Benedict.

Aquarians are often extravagant and charming, and sometimes even seem a little odd. Reuben demonstrates his extravagance throughout the movie, through his sense of fashion, the interior design of his home and the signature cigar he always has in his hand. Although Reuben is an unusual person, he is a smooth-talker and has an infectious smile which seems to charm everyone he meets.

Pisces: Danny Ocean

Danny Ocean is the character who conceptualizes the heist and brings the group together to make it happen.

Pisces are known for their romanticism and for adapting their personalities and behavior to different situations. Danny's romantic side is evident throughout the movie - while he is motivated to steal the money, his main motivation is to get his wife back. Additionally, Danny demonstrates his Pisces ability to adapt himself and connect with different people to get what he wants. He does this to convince everyone to agree to take part in the heist.
