A watch list created by Disney+ for Obi-Wan Kenobi includes key arcs of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The latest live-action Star Wars series is set to follow the titular Jedi (with Ewan McGregor returning to the role) midway through his exile on Tatooine as he watches over the young Luke Skywalker. Pursuing him will be Hayden Christensen's Darth Vader and his ruthless team of Sith Inquisitors, who will seemingly stop at nothing until they have their prize.

Obi-Wan's last canon appearance in Star Wars was in the animated Clone Wars season 7, which released in early 2020. The series has been a favorite amongst viewers, with its final season in particular gaining critical acclaim. The series began in 2008 and covers much of the time period between Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. Many characters from Clone Wars have since gone on to debut in live action, such as Bo-Katan Kryze and Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian, as well as Cad Bane in The Book of Boba Fett. For her part, Duchess Satine Kryze of Mandalore was once the love interest of Obi-Wan, who he even said he would have left the Jedi Order for. Satine's tragic death almost sent Obi-Wan to the Dark Side, something he was able to resist after fighting for composure.

Now, an Obi-Wan Kenobi watch list put together by Disney+ UK and shared via Twitter suggests that Clone Wars' Satine could make her live-action debut in the series. The list includes Clone Wars season 2 episodes 12 to 16, as well as season 5 episodes 14 to 16. Interestingly, each arc focuses on Obi-Wan and his relationship with Duchess Satine. While it would be impossible for Satine to appear in the Obi-Wan Kenobi timeline, she could make her debut in a flashback sequence. Many viewers have already anticipated seeing flashbacks from the Clone Wars era, including moments Obi-Wan spent with Anakin Skywalker and perhaps even Ahsoka. This, along with the arcs chosen for the watch list, seem to point towards either a mentioning of Satine or perhaps even some kind of physical appearance. It would be a strong emotional tie-in for Obi-Wan along his journey, especially as he continues to grapple with what he went though at the end of Revenge of the Sith.

Whether or not Satine herself is mentioned or appears in Obi-Wan Kenobi, the series will likely be a huge treat for viewers of the Clone Wars. The appearance of the Sith Inquisitors alone is promising for Star Wars Rebels viewers, something that already points towards the animated series becoming a large influence over the story of the Star Wars spinoff series. Even Christensen himself has shared that he watched Clone Wars to prepare for his return as Anakin/Vader. With such an emphasis being placed on Clone Wars, it's expected that many storylines will continue to carry over into Obi-Wan Kenobi and the Jedi's upcoming journey.
