Nvidia GeForce Now is one of the best cloud gaming platforms on the market, and anyone who has an AT&T wireless plan can now get the service's Priority membership for free. Over the past few years, it's become a trend for wireless companies to include a bunch of freebies for their subscribers. T-Mobile, for example, gives its customers a free Netflix subscription, free access to Paramount+, and things like weekly gas discounts with T-Mobile Tuesdays.

AT&T is privy to this practice as well. All AT&T unlimited plans currently come with six months of free access to Stadia Pro. Subscribers to AT&T's Unlimited Elite plan get a free HBO Max membership, too. The actual value of these bundled subscriptions varies from person to person, but getting free stuff is always better than nothing at all.

Looking to keep that momentum going, AT&T's added another free subscription. As of January 4, 2022, all of AT&T's unlimited plans now include six months of Nvidia GeForce Now Priority — a six-month membership that normally retails for $49.99. The offer applies to new and existing customers and is included on all three unlimited plans (including Unlimited Starter, Unlimited Extra, and Unlimited Elite). Per David Christopher, AT&T's executive vice president and general manager of partnerships and 5G ecosystem development, "NVIDIA is the latest leader that has tapped AT&T 5G to turn cloud gaming up a notch because we supply the power, speed, and responsiveness you need when mobile."

Everything You Get With GeForce Now's Priority Plan

Nvidia GeForce Now plans as of January 2022

Nvidia GeForce Now officially launched in February 2020 as a way for gamers to play their favorite PC games on any device with a fast enough internet connection. Instead of only being able to play Apex Legends on your gaming PC, GeForce Now allows it (and hundreds of other titles) to be played on other laptops, smartphones, tablets, and even smart TVs — all through the power of the cloud.

While GeForce Now is technically free to use, the Free membership comes with limited graphics power, 'standard' gaming servers, and limits users to playing one-hour sessions at a time. The Priority membership tier now offered by AT&T improves the experience dramatically. Priority players get a 'premium' cloud gaming rig with RTX support, output up to 1080p at 60fps, priority access to premium servers, up to six-hour gaming sessions, and a free copy of Crysis Remastered. Overall, there's not much to complain about with this one. Folks who aren't interested in cloud gaming can ignore this new perk and keep on like normal. For anyone who is excited about cloud gaming, they now have six months of higher-quality streaming and a new game to add to their collection. What's not to like?
