One dedicated Marvel fan has revealed his own comic-accurate Nova helmets. A popular figure in Marvel Comics lore, Nova is one of the most beloved characters who have yet to debut on the silver screen. He has many features that make him instantly recognizable, the most well-known of the bunch being his iconic helmet.

An alias commonly utilized by Richard Rider, the mantle has been passed to other characters since the hero’s introduction in the 1970s. He has numerous superpowers at his disposal, including flight, superhuman speed to rival DC’s Flash, superhuman strength, and energy projection, all of which make him a formidable opponent in combat. In the comics, Richard Rider is selected to become Nova when the final member of the Xandarian Nova Corps, Rhomann Dey (played by John C. Reilly in Guardians of the Galaxy) chooses him as his replacement.

Though Richard Rider is arguably the most well-known Nova in Marvel history, other characters have taken on the mantle and worn different helmets along the way. As such, content creator Frankly Built has posted numerous photos showcasing various 3D-printed designs for real-life Nova helmets that are incredibly comic-accurate. Frankly Built has become well-known among many Marvel fans for his creations based on beloved superheroes. These Nova helmets are yet another impressive entry in a long line of impressive 3D-printed products. In fact, other samples produced by Frankly Built include multiple Iron Man helmets, a crossover Iron Man/Mandalorian suit, and Captain America’s vibranium shield. With the debut of these new Nova helmets, it’s the closest many Marvel fans have come yet to seeing a full-blown live-action version of the classic character.

Of course, now people are left to wonder what the silver screen adaptation of Nova may look like if he ever comes over to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the off-screen destruction of Xandar prior to the events of Avengers: Infinity War, some have wondered if such an introduction could be right around the corner. In fact, many have clamored for his debut in the MCU for quite some time, particularly after the introduction of the Nova Corps in Guardians of the Galaxy. However, at this time, there is no indication as to if or when he will arrive. For now, audiences can catch the latest new characters to the MCU when Eternals hits theaters on November 5.
