Warning! SPOILERS for No Time To Die

Jeffrey Wright shared a new behind-the-scenes photo from the No Time To Die set featuring Daniel Craig and Billy Magnussen. The release of this latest installment in the Bond franchise has been incredibly well-received by audiences and critics alike. It boasts a star-studded cast alongside Wright, including Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, and Ana De Armas. Wright's return to the franchise as CIA operative, Felix Leiter, was a welcomed addition to Craig's fifth and final appearance as Bond, having previously seen the character in both Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.

Felix Leiter has been portrayed by several different actors across the entirety of the Bond franchise. However, Wright's appearance in No Time To Die marks the first time an actor has played the same role in three different titles. After first crossing paths in Casino Royale, Leiter and Bond are reunited in this latest installment, as the CIA agent is sent to track down Bond in an attempt to convince him to help locate the scientist who is working on a dangerous bioweapon, one that would ultimately seal Bond's fate. Leiter also, unfortunately, meets his untimely death within the film at the hands of his 'rookie' partner, Logan Ash (played by Magnussen), despite Bond's desperate attempts to save him.

Jeffrey Wright shared an exciting BTS image from No Time To Die filming on his Instagram page. The photo, captured in Jamaica, is a selfie taken by Magnussen with Wright riding shotgun and Craig visible outside their car. Wright captioned the image "Come ride with the fellas," followed by a call for fans to go and see No Time To Die in theatres. Check out Wright's post below.

After crediting Magnussen for the image, Wright also revealed that the photo was taken on his first day of shooting for No Time To Die. The photo appears to have been taken while filming the somewhat cheerier scenes in which Leiter appears, as opposed to his heartbreaking final moments following his partner's betrayal. The actor has had a busy year following his appearance in No Time To Die, with the film's release coinciding with the concluding episodes of season one of Marvel's What If..?, in which Wright provides the voice of The Watcher.

The caption that accompanies Wright's post does not allude to the actual dynamic between the three men in the film. However, the photo itself acts as somewhat of a tribute as none of the characters featured make it out of the movie alive. Leiter's death within No Time To Die marked the end of a well-established friendship between Craig and Wright's characters, and it was undoubtedly an emotional goodbye for the duo. While this may have been the last time fans see Wright within the Bond franchise, audiences do not have to wait long until Wright is back on the big screen, as the star is set to appear as Commissioner Gordon in Matt Reeves' The Batmanwhich expected to release in 2022.
