Jess-Baptiste VI is one of the final bosses of No More Heroes 3and is one of the toughest opponents in the game. The foes in No More Heroes 3 are extraterrestrial threats, which combine the aesthetics of '80s action figures with professional wrestlers, and Jess-Baptiste VI is no exception on either front.

The beginning of the story shows a young boy forming a friendship with an alien named FU. Years later, the alien returns as the maniacal Jess-Baptiste VI, with a crew of powerful alien soldiers. It's up to No More Heroes' Travis Touchdown to cut through the invaders as part of the Galactic Rankings system so that he can face Jess-Baptiste VI in the finals and save the Earth from harm.

Jess-Baptiste VI has four eyes throughout most of his appearances. Once the final battle against Jess-Baptiste VI starts, he sprouts multiple eyes across his body. These are the key to his defenses, as they can project a force field that protects him from harm.

No More Heroes 3 Jess Baptiste Phase 1

Jess-Baptiste VI's eyes create a forcefield that makes him difficult to attack. It also allows him to perform throw counters to moves like the Death Kick. The only thing that affects him while the eyes are open is the slowdown move, but even this doesn't stop the forcefield. The forcefield can even block the missiles from the Henshin form. To harm Jess-Baptiste VI, the player needs to keep running behind him, especially after he lunges for a throw. This will cause Jess-Baptiste VI to look around in confusion, causing the eyes to close and dropping his shield. Jess-Baptiste VI will become vulnerable, allowing the player to wail on him with the Beam Katana, the Death Kick, or throws.

In terms of his attacks, the gold spikes can be avoided or dodged, and the hair spikes need to be dodged at the last second, as they shift direction. If he creates a black and gold aura that flies out, then it will deal a lot of damage, but it also leaves him vulnerable to a Death Kick. If he creates a massive black & gold Spirit Bomb, then just run away as fast as possible. If he stabs his hair into the ground, then look for red spots on the floor, as the hair will fly up and stab Travis from that spot. His most deadly move is a teleporting attack during his final phase, which is extremely difficult to dodge. It's best for the player to save either of the Henshin forms for the red phase of his health bar, in order to prevent Jess-Baptiste VI from using his deadliest moves.

No More Heroes 3: Jess-Baptiste VI Phase Two - The Arena Of Arm Portals

No More Heroes 3 Jess Baptiste Phase 2

The second phase of this No More Heroes boss is considerably easier than the first. Travis is transported to an arena that is surrounded by portals. If any portal descends, then Jess will use it to attack Travis with a giant hand. This stage of the battle goes through four phases, linked to Jess' health bar. For the first phase, just wait for an arm to fly out and hit it with heavy attacks. In the second phase, the arm will become a lot faster and will try to fake out Travis, but it's damaged in the same way.

In the third phase, the slow arm returns, but black and gold lasers will fire down into the arena as concentrated beams. Just keep doing the same as before and hitting the arms. The lasers will keep appearing and disappearing throughout the fight. In the final phase, the fast/fakeout arm will appear and work alongside the lasers. Use the same tactics throughout and Jess will be defeated.
