No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle appear to have PC ports in the works after each were listed by the ESRB. The two games were recently ported to the Nintendo Switch and will now be joining their spin-off, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, with a release on PC.

The two titles were previously exclusive to the Nintendo Wii before Switch ports breathed new life into the series. Travis Strikes Again, the excellent spin-off released almost a decade after No More Heroes 2, was the first to break from that Nintendo exclusivity, seeing a PC release in October 2019 after being released as a timed Switch exclusive earlier that year. No More Heroes 3, the newest entry in the series, is currently in development for the Switch and recently saw a delay into 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic crisis.

According to two ESRB listings though, both No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle will be receiving PC releases courtesy of publisher Marvelous. The listings offer a synopsis and rating breakdown for each along with a platform listing of “Windows PC.” Both have yet to be confirmed officially, but Marvelousis the same publisher that handled the PC release of Travis Strikes Again, so it seems only a matter of time until the publisher confirms the releases.

Given the PC release of Travis Strikes Again and the recent Switch ports of the first two, it looks like the series is setting up fans for the eventual release of No More Heroes 3. The third game was one of the most-anticipated games this year until its delay and the publisher is likely looking to fill the void until then and bring in new fans at the same time.

Regardless, it is great news for PC players. Travis Strikes Again played very well on the platform and if they are able to port the other two with the same level of quality, then the releases are likely to bring in a lot of new fans. This is also good news in that it could be an early sign of an eventual PC release of No More Heroes 3. The game is currently listed as a Switch exclusive, but if the first two are able to do well, then it would not be odd for the third to make its way over to PC as well. The PC has been seeing a surge of previously-exclusive Japanese games being ported over and it looks like 2021 is going to be another solid year for the platform.
