Nightwing and Starfire are iconic members of the Titans, a close-knit group of superheroes consisting of some of the most popular characters DC Comics has ever created. And now, in an absolutely stunning cosplay photo, this one-time Boy Wonder and current Tamaranian princess are back together again with jaw-dropping results!
Shared on Instagram by username @graciethecosplaylass (featuring @masked_mateo as Nightwing), Gracie is a cosplay artist who uploads her highly detailed, comic-accurate looks to her almost 180k followers on a near daily basis. Dressing not only as Starfire but other comic characters such as Mystique, She-Hulk, Batgirl, Hawkgirl, and more, Gracie has also dabbled in creating looks from the worlds of Red Sonja, Scooby-Doo, and even Star Wars.
Two characters that have grown from being close teammates to romantic lovers to respectful friends, Dick Grayson aka Nightwing, and Princess Koriand’r aka Starfire, are fan-favorite heroes in a comic universe chock-full of them. Transitioning from being youthful teen vigilantes to superheroic teachers at the Titans Academy, Nightwing and Starfire always work well together and are held up as shining beacons of hope for the next generation of DC Comics heroes and beyond.
Nightwing and Starfire Fly Together In New Cosplay!
Setting this DC Comics cosplay scene against a beautiful cityscape at sunrise (as photographed by @calop_), Gracie as Starfire is positioned high in the air and smiling wide, with her species signature orange-tinged skin giving her a glowing aura that quite simply looks great on her. Dressed in a perfect replica of Starfire’s purple and white suit, this photo immediately gets better when fans realize she’s giving a lift to her long-time Titans teammate and OG Bat-Family member, Nightwing. Impeccably cosplayed by @masked_mateo in a way that looks like he's just walked off the panel, Gracie holds tight to @masked_mateo’s arm as she flies forward, with @masked_mateo having the same jubilant expression stretched across his face as Gracie’s own.
So while Dick and Koriand’r probably won't get into a romantic relationship anytime soon, Gracie’s cosplay does more than enough to keep fans satisfied for the time being. The Titan’s Nightwing and Starfire are back at it again, and thanks to Gracie (@graciethecosplaylass) and @masked_mateo, they’ve never looked better.
