Here's where to watch the classic sitcom Night Court online. Everything old continues to be new in the land of TV, as recent years have seen the announcement and or premieres of updated spins on classic shows favorites. In Night Court's case, the forthcoming reboot could also be considered a sequel series, as it focuses on a new lead played by Melissa Rauch (The Big Bang Theory's Bernadette) and is bringing back only one original cast member.

Granted, that's partly due to a higher than average amount of Night Court cast members having passed away since it ended, as opposed to other 1980s/1990s comedies. The one returning player is Dan Fielding (John Larroquette), who on the original Night Court was a womanizing creep that often harassed his female co-workers. Many are hoping Dan Fielding will be an example of how to rehabilitate old characters for the #MeToo era, but that remains to be seen.

Night Court version two is expected to debut sometime during the 2021-2022 TV season. With that on the horizon, now would be a great time to try and either re-live Night Court's original run or experience it for the very first time. Night Court's rights holders did not make this an easy task, but thankfully, IMDB TV now has the show available to watch for free with ads.

Night Court Is On IMDB TV (But Not Netflix, Hulu, Or Prime)

Sadly, Night Court's original nine-season run isn't currently available to stream on Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime, but IMDB TV now has the show available to watch for free with ads playing. The initial lack of availability seemed odd, as while Night Court isn't as iconic as 1990s staples Friends or Seinfeld, classic comedies with large libraries tend to perform very well on streaming due to how easy they are to binge. Luckily, IMDB TV making Night Court available to stream free is a huge deal for fans. There are also other options for watching Night Court now too.

Where To Buy Night Court Online

Unfortunately, Night Court episodes can't be rented either. Instead, individual episodes are available to buy at Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, and Vudu for $1.99, while entire seasons range from $14.99 to $19.99 from those same retailers. Considering there are nine seasons, those prices would certainly add up quickly if one wanted to purchase the whole series. Vudu offers easily the most cost-effective option, as it sells a complete series pack for $99.99. For those not averse to physical media, all nine seasons of Night Court are also available on DVD, but some seasons are out of print, and the total cost to buy would easily dwarf Vudu's bundle price.
