Throughout the course of NieR Replicant players will face off against all kinds of different enemies. All of these enemies have their own specific abilities that they will bring to the table and the player will have to employ a wide array of strategies to bring each one down. This is even more true when talking about the game's bosses who are capable of dealing a huge amount of damage against players.

This new version of NieR Replicant tells the same story as the original game, but it also adds in many new enemies and bosses for the player to fight. If the player makes it to Ending E of NieR Replicant they can actually go up against a brand new boss for the very first time. This boss, the Administrators, is by no means easy to bring down, so players will need to stay on their toes if they hope to survive. This guide shows players how to defeat the Administrators.

The interesting part about the fight against the Administrators in NieR Replicant is that it takes place during the final ending of the game, which means that the player will be playing as Kaine rather than protagonist NieR. The issue with that is that Kaine isn't able to do any magic while fighting, so the player will have to defeat this boss entirely by using physical attacks. The player should remember though that Kaine is faster and more agile than NieR, so that should be used to their advantage to avoid the boss' attacks. The Administrators can use these abilities in combat:

  • Thrust: The boss will charge directly at the player and throw their arm out to deal damage.
  • Left Stomp: By lifting up and slamming its leg on the ground a shockwave will be sent out at the player.
  • Right Stomp: After slamming its leg on the ground electricity will shoot out in all directions.
  • Backswipe: The boss will swing its arm backward to attack anything behind it.

This boss is almost constantly attacking, so players will need to stay on their toes if they hope to bring it down. It will use the Thrust attack most often, so players should dodge around it to avoid taking damage from this. As soon as they dodge players should go in an attack with a combo from the side. Try not to spend too much time behind the boss as it will trigger the swiping attack that will hurt a lot. It is best to try and always stick to The Administrator's left or right side.

The stomps on the other hand can reach the player no matter where they are on the map if they aren't careful. Luckily the player only has to jump to avoid taking damage from either stomp but keep in mind that the right foot's electricity is much faster than the left's shockwave. If the player is fast enough they can also dodge through the right foot's attack, but it's probably best to jump over it. After either of these attacks are used the player should rush in and attack. If they keep on dodging and attacking like this the Administrators should go down in no time at all.
